It's called short cycling ... if you have too much cooling capacity it's overkill and the unit pulls down too quickly. You also will not get proper dehumidification of the air. Best to deal with your contractor and properly size the unit so it doesn't run too much, or not enough.

Fujitsu is Trash. You get what you pay for.

That’s my problem too! I just put a white thick sticker over the light and that really helped dampen the brightness.
