Picking up from Part 1, I'm rounding out a busy day at the gym and I'll show you how I time meals around training and work. I'm very structured around food, but even a little consistency in eyeballing your protein puts you at the top of people trying to change their physique. I love your duo with your wife as mind-body integration and honest real content; relatable + human. Also thank you for noting allostatic energy/stress being sourced from vlogging amongst other sources- so important. [mind you, your vlogs are literally doing physical exercises. Although brain energy is very engaging and energy-using as well. These videos are so helpful,I’m a 49 year old female in menopause and I’m weight training 4 times a week and I teach fitness classes 3 times a week I’m really trying to increase my BMR I only eat 1800 calories to maintain my weight and with all my activities I’m still hungry but don’t want to gain weight.I have gained more fat during menopause so I’m trying to prioritise protein and eat carbs that give me energy to deal with my activity.Your meal ideas are great and I definitely need to find something other than scales to measure my progress

5:30 so cool- I’m experimenting with “sowens” (fermented oat bran- it’s so nice. Kind of sweet when it ferments- very gentle on the gut). Feels very empowering (I think self-fermentation is a political act!).

Diet and meal prep is my big weakness as far as not having good ideas of what to make with healthier food (usually ground beef rice and chips or chicken or something) since I moved out so love these videos!
