I thought you are mad when I saw the workout 😭 I just came back from the gym....and I was able to do it and it felt great 👊👌👏I just didn’t have time to do the 40 min spin session. Thank you Mat!
This is extremely good programming. You can tell it's thought out very well and the effort is there in terms of creation. As an Olympic weightlifting coach/crossfit coach this is a great marriage between the two in a realistic approach for the public 🙌
I hope the programming will explain in detail, what and why am I performing the workouts. When Matt explains the tabata bike to ensure you don't blow out in the first rd, is super dope.
This is the type of breakdown that would be nice to have inside the Hybrid Coaching App. Having solid understanding and guidance on why we are doing what we are doing and to what level of intensify as well as what we’re focusing would really help elevate the program.
I was thinking the same. in the meantime I used jump rope for ski, mountain climber for tabata assaulted bike, Home Depot water jug for sand beg, lying leg extension for reverse hyper. I have set of power block that I add too barbell for push and press. cool workout.
@@MrBeeMeR320D yea i get that I was asking from that perspective as I am one of those people just thought its really well done and easy to decrypt rather than many other exercise platforms
It’s a really good question. If does a video like this everyday for the subscribers, that’s amazing value and would provide good guidance for those who aren’t as familiar with mats style.
Seems like a lot of effort for mat and his editor if he doesn’t do it himself. I’d say there would be individual explanations in writing and maybe a video per movement in a library. I have the program but haven’t bothered to check yet 😅
I am sure the programming is amazing but the App launch is a train wreck. I still do not have access to the program via the app. Contacted support.....nothing. Tons of people are having the same issue. This is Hybrid Trainings issue not Mats.....but his name is on it sooooo it kind of is his problem. Should have gone with someone that had experience in app software.
Appreciate your patience. We’ve been working on it around the clock to get this fixed. We are sending an email today with an overview of week one with coaching videos to get you going. Our main focus is to get you working out. Stay with us and we’ll make it right. -Fraser
I just got in.. App loaded the first 31 days. Glad to be in here. Would request the team accept paypal if they can.. Plus reduce steps in the checkout cart.. but support responded to me very quickly over their FB page.. Issue was my cc, not them.. I'm in now.. Happy to be in the program. Whoop whoop!
That's amazing! When I hit 40 my feet and back and shoulders said no to the volume for cardio and lifts...Oh to being young again Gorilla stuff right there 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Does anyone know If you were to purchase this program, if all the Workouts require equipment from a full gym? OR are there different options based on equipment available? I have a decently stocked garage gym ( barbells/plates, dbs, rack, wallballs) but dont have an assult bike.. ski erg... etc. Ontario is still in full on lockdowns and our gyms have pretty well only been open for 3 months MAYBE this past year..... so its hard to access the equipment and wondering if its required to follow all the training plans. Thanks!
Awesome program! I love the thorough explanation of the movements and the intention of each piece. It would be great to see a more home gym friendly version in the future.
It is a very good program I would be buy it, but there is one thing for me that the program don't have. Skill training for gymnastics. My biggest weakness is gymnastics can't do well muscle ups or ring muscle ups hsw or free handstand. The rest I love on this peogramm
Great workout but I have to say, it is a little funny seeing a CrossFit guy do strict pull-ups and need to use a band. I am literally just saying that’s because it is kind of ironic because people are always picking on cross fitters for their lack of strict pull-up. Great work out thank you for the info.
If your a professional athlete this absolutely manageable as you do this in stages throughout the day. Most pros literally train 9-5. If however you have 0 training experience as an athlete, there no way you would have the time or gas tank to do this regularly day in and day out. The amount of food you would have to consume to recover from that much volume alone would be ridiculous.
Great idea to give out one for free. I, like probably many others, aren't sure about signing up for this or that, but letting people try one day of training will let people know exactly what it feels like. I may run this tomorrow.
Weekly coaching videos are available to members through a newsletter with direct links to each day. The videos will be integrated directly into the app in the near future as well for a one-stop-shop experience.
App all set up, I have read through the first 31 works outs of this session and the progression is superb. The programming is awesome. I am starting Monday as that will flow better for me but can't wait. Well done Mat and the team.
Anyone know why the Strict Press @ Minute 2:10 in the video he says 4 x 10 @ 90% of 10 RM but the breakdown at the end the strict press section says 1 x 10 @ 57%, 1 x 10 @ 60 & 2 x 8 @ 63%? Which one is it?
How important do you think the hyper machine is VS body weight at home hyper extensions/ Superman’s? I’m contemplating spending the $ for a nice reverse hyper
Hey Mat, curious if you cycle your training and take a week off for recovery every 2 or 3 months? Appreciate feed back if you read this, thanks bud! I ask cause I feel burned out mentally/physically during my plateaus.
just finished this workout, then it comes up on my youtube, mad coincidence! wrecked me this one. Not sure how many could do 5 sets of the 100lb sandbag? i done the 70lb one and that was heavy enough!
Anyone have a good conversion calculator or table for that Cardio workout. Was able to keep track of total calories burned during the work period and I have estimate of average watts based on pace I was keeping. Just seeing if anyone has a definitive conversion? Thanks
This looks great. I’m joining this Tuesday. This is almost how I program my workouts now. But of course, way better. Already he has better, lower impact movements. It’s super gentle. But high volume and specific. Works with my schedule too. For years I’ve now done 8-12min warmups. 8-15min strength/skill. 8-35min WOD. Done. Or variations. Then I always do afternoon walk o’clock with my dog. 30-45min. I can turn it to a run. This now only adds 10-15min of accessory work. I can add 15min to my current routine. Mat’s programming will be 10,000% better than anything I could come up with on my own. Done. I’m so in. Ha ha ha. I have no clue what the other 99.99% of the program looks like. But I love this already. I’m joining.
