I am not getting married and don't plan to, I don't watch the other weddings shows because they are just pretentious, but I would watch anything with Jo and Al in, they are such lovely ladies.

I’ve watched many of these wedding dress shows, but when the groom saw his bride and said “Oh darling!” I cried. It was just lovely. ❤

I've been married 2x and I won't do it again..and I've always been small. I watch this show rather than the others for the sole reason of the way Jo and Al treat these gorgeous women. I love them so much

I love that Al and Jo go and help the bride into her dress, at the wedding, when they know they are needed. They are the BEST! ❤️❤️

If I ever get married, I will make the trip all the way from Ohio to go at Al and Jo. These ladies do AMAZING things! And because they have been there, they know how to communicate with heavier brides.

I will probably never again get married! But Jo and Al make my day each time I see one of their videos pop up! I cry tears of JOY for each Bride! How I wish I had a pair like these two lovely ladies there to have helped me. As it was, I went alone and took any old dress.

Dad said he spent 40 years in retail. What he meant was he spent 40 years stocking the shelves in Sainsbury's. Anyone who actually spent 40 years in retail fashions would know rouching when he saw it. One of the best things about Jo and Al is that they're not pushy like other salesmen. They keep to the bride's budget and don't force the bride to take something she's not comfortable with. They want their brides to be happy, confident and comfortable and if they have to drive halfway across the country to achieve that, they'll do it.

You ladies are a blessing. You make the brides feel very special and comfortable. Bless you both.

I love this show. The ladies who own the shop apparently have been heavy woman. The only way you can know what the bride is going through is if you have been there yourself. They do this. They know what to do with each bride. Lovely show.

Wedding dresses have come so far in the past 50 years. When I was a junior in college 1974, I remember going Wedding Dress shopping with one of my roommates. She was a "big" girl and EVERY SINGLE DRESS was size 10 (USA size). There was nothing that she could even try on. If she found a dress that she liked and could be ordered in her size, I would put it on for her to see. Now years later, I can only imagine how horrible that situation must have been for her.

1:55 Back when I was young, we shopped for wedding gowns in Sears and JC Penney catalogs! It was a huge moment when those arrived in the mail. Immediately, we turned to the "Bridal" sections and dreamed of our big day.

Al and Jo, I have never seen such sweet women, who will attend a bride as consultants on her wedding day in the caring way that you do. I am a seamstress and always wanted the brides and other clients that I created formal wear for to have that kind of a personal touch as well. Thank-you so much for your philosophy and practice that you employ to provide your brides with the empathetic involvement that you do. Weddings and funerals, where the most intense of feelings can and do erupt. If I every chose to be married again, I would want the two of YOU to help me as well! Hugs from the USA ladies.

I am not fond of the short veil, especially when someone is unhappy with their arms, which seems to hi-lite that area. Of course I admit my bias is that long veils are regal and more bridal. Does anyone else feel that way? At any rate, I often wish to see these beautiful brides in both veil styles before deciding. There is so much effort put into the dress, while the veil seems to be just an after thought.

I really felt for Caroline - when I bought my wedding dress I had it taken in 1 inch in the bust, and 8 inches in the waist. I get sizing for that one thing, and then having to make changes to everything else. I sure wish I had Jo and Al back then!

I feel that they either cut lots of interactions out or Jo seriously overplayed the ‘conflict’ with the dad here. Then again, their vibe is very often defiant when a bride brings a man with her, why is there always a weird storyline there ? Same when the bride has her fiancé in mind when picking a dress, as though that necessarily meant he’s overbearing, controlling or stifling.

I think Jo and Al put themselves in the shop. I believe they choose a dress as if they were wearing the gown themselves
