Im a South African but iv got All Blacks rugby running in my veins. And the Haka man it takes u to another level. Iv played rugby from the age of 6yrs nd today I'm a 65yrs old man. But All blacks rugby nd the Haka has taught me many things. I just love the New Zealand people,their culture, traditions nd the Respect Love nd Compassion they displayed towards the Muslim Community at the time of that dreadful day of the killing of innocent worshippers at the mosque. The Maori people has my greatest of respect. They will always be the world champions not only in rugby but in many other things.The world nd its people can learn from this.

To think this was 3 years ago, feels like it was so much more recent.

Fifita looked like the fastest blindside ever in this game. He did serious damages anytime he touched the ball. Unfortunately he did not mantain the promises.

It's almost sad knowing what has happened to that stadium since this game. Earthquake damage has made the two stands a safety risk and the resulting lack of fans has severely impacted gate takings. Taranaki has gone from running the biggest surplus in the NPC to having the biggest deficit.

Beaudy doesn't have many bad games, but he makes far too many mistakes in this one. He throws away 10 points in kicks in the first half. He tosses out some wild passes. He misses too many tackles. He gets (correctly) sin-binned. And he is far too quick to go for the cute little kick-ahead. Usually when he does that it leads to a Pumas scrum. I'd have been tempted to take him off altogether at half time. Lima looks much steadier here. The other problem player here is McKenzie--he's his usual erratic self only with not enough of the usual touches of genius to go with the touches of chaos, and he's just not getting it right contesting in the air.

One thing I love about rugby is this unspoken expectation that you put your best available 15 men on the field and play as hard as you can for 80 minutes, winning or not. There's none of that wussy mercy rule crap or letting up and going easy with your second string in. Nope, that's essentially considered an insult. It's almost like the "weaker" teams have the attitude of if we can't take the best that you have then we don't deserve to be here.

Remember this game well for that stunning Fifita try and his big storming runs! Then the usual Mackenzie issues, try assist and scores a try but also drops 4-5 high balls, out of position, kicks ball off side of boot etc. Always a liability but everyone only remembers the offense.
