Winning the National Championship is so difficult that it falls into a "random luck" category. The team that ends up winning it all is indeed very good-but not necessarily the best. There is no way to objectively rank basketball teams and most would consider it a stretch to say that Michigan is a top 16 team. But you know what-they still retain the possibility of winning it all.

People have to realize that Michigan was very young the last two years . 4 freshmen in the major rotation with a couple sopomores . We were younger next season as well . 2023 -24 will be a lot better because we have experience.

Michigan was Ranked high this season, they loss games by not being Consistent, Unranked & got in the Tournament….they had to Learn to play with each other when it matters now look !!! Sweet 16 unlike Kentucky, Tennessee & others !

Now, if you are trying to talk about analytics and computer projections like KenPom - fine - but clearly state that.

With both Dickinson and Diabate out there they are a tall impregnable brick house . Bad shooting night, but that’s something to be expected when you live and die by the three. Tennessee is a much better team, they just got beat/outplayed that night. Props to Michigan though. They drew up a good defensive plan to keep our best 3 shooter in check.

Face it , Michigan proved all whiners wrong when they made the ncaa tournament with a cruddy 17-14 thanks to a wise ncaa selection committee that prizes a school near annually playing the toughest schedule in the nation. In short,Michigan has no worry or stress and is just playing with house money since 90 percent of the nation didn't think they would even make the tourney!

I don't like how they call the shot clock. I feel the call should be: is he off the ground when the clock expires as opposed to if the ball is out of his hand. It seems wrong for the rules to follow when the ball leaves the players hand when the shot starts as he enters the air.

It's not a shot until the ball leaves the hands. If he doesn't release the ball but comes down, it's not a shot; it's a travel.

Tennessee men's basketball coach Rick Barnes continues to live up to his billing. He may be able to produce results prior to the NCAA men's basketball tournament, but he is always a loser during the NCAA men's basketball tournament. A Barnes-coached team will never hoist a NCAA men's basketball Tournament Championship trophy. NEVER!

The coaches are allowed a few feet onto the court as long as they don’t interfere. You can see the small vertical lines on the sideline indicating how far they can go

@@Woodyruff Typical ghetto logic, similar to the refs consistently being on the court in the way of the players. Players have to GUESS whether the coaches and officials will get out of the way if they come near them. Players and officials have no business on the court of play during play. Period.

@@peteshrake Just not true. 99% of the time the coaches and refs stay out of the way and it doesn’t affect the game. Besides, if you take the refs off the court they can’t see the game as well and are more prone to bad calls. Then you’ll be crying that the refs can’t see the play

You might have been raised a certain way as a kid and maybe that’s all you know, so I won’t judge you on that. The bottom line is there are so many ways a man can “man up” or show his strength, but Chandler showing his emotion only demonstrates how much he cared for his team’s success. If I was a coach, I’d take a player like that any day.
