As a huge Springbok fan I will watch this over and over again Such good rugby from two brilliant teams. As a spectator I still feel that I won. Great rugby
It's a shame there's no major push to get America playing League. It's much more easily understood, more aggressive, more fluid and a better foil for football given how the ball is in play nearly all of the time. Also requires vastly less coaching than either union or football and so won't suck on resources.
@@floydkingi4364 all of their top athletes play basketball, football, baseball, wrestling etc. Rugby is way down the the list for young athletes to participate in.
@@gileschenery3645 im not so sure league will ever catch on unfortunately. The NRL is far too focused on its own borders instead of international growth. When a sport puts origin as its highest event even over a world cup, that speaks volumes about its priorities
South Africa beat New Zealand in Wellington the weekend before this game and then New Zealand went over to South Africa as revenge and beat the Springboks in Pretoria. Just gotta love the rivalry between these two great Rugby foes! :D
Yes I remember that too.. for NZ to have already won the RC the week before against Argentina, they still were hurting from the Wellington game. Two amazing sides over the years and this game lived up to expectations.
Against a hostile home crowd with the championship already won. How many teams would have been that motivated in that environment to win at the 60min stage.?..lol
As a South African I went to go watch that game. It was the first international game I hBe ever seen and it was the most excitinh thing I have ever seen.
The look of nervousness and despair in the eyes of Springbok supporters in the last 3min of the game as the Blacks attacked the Boks line was palpable, full credit to the Boks though as they played powerfully until the last 20 minutes of the game.
Classic example of the All Blacks "never say die" attitude!! Always great games between South Africa. Now I see why the All Blacks have best record in rugby 🏉
I watch the ones we do lose as well, just to keep in touch with how losing feels and it doesn't feel any better. Thanks All Blacks for the uploads and the good & the bad of these iconic games of Rugby.
I for sure thought NZ wouldn't come back and that's after seeing so many comebacks from them. In fact, I thought the number of views of this video only indicated that it was an amazing match with a SA victory. But, here they came again those AB's......nothing short of amazing, despite the annoying spate of mistakes.
Great game! Sickener for SA. As an an Englishman, neutral, but a fan of the underdog, I was backing SA for the win but it wasn't to be. Great kick from Mo'unga into the corner at the end.
Hope we can get back to these internationals soon.Amazing game between 2 giants of the game and every bounce of the ball followed by a capacity -vocal supporters in stunning weather and atmosphere. Thanks for the replay,All Blacks -made my night.
wow I've never seen so many penalties conceded in a game by the All Blacks, especially in the first 20 minutes. Also how many lineouts lost off their own throw, and after in trailing for 79 minutes of the game score the try, and kick the winning conversion, right on full time. Hard on the emotions of both the South Africans and kiwi spectators & viewers watching. As an All Black fan with ten minutes left, even I almost gave up hope until the 2nd to last try, then suddenly there was a chance & a glimmer of hope, In a dream world a draw would had been fair, but life ain't a fairy tale. What a game.
Amazing rivalry resurrected!!! Like all Sa fans around me, bitterly disappointed at full time but many AB fans said they will always respect the springbok and there were supportive hugs around. So when will ANY RU-vid channeler upload the bok victory 2 weeks b4?
I was at a motel in Whakatane when I watched this game......we were well down and I went to bed at half time. Woke up, watched the news and couldn't believe the AB's had won!!
Gotta love the "bigger they are the harder they fall" all my coaches from junior grade drilled this into us and the ol' "pin your ears back and go for the line" it stayed with me all through my rugby days here in New Zealand - kia kaha boys :)
I'm always on edge when we face the boks. Heart in my ears. Boks are always at their best and give us a go for our money. Congratulations to A.Bs never seize to amaze.
great teams, great rugby nations can you please post All blacks vs Springboks , weekend before this (kiwi home leg), and the one from last year in New Zealand, cannot find them on youtube
Well some teams have done that against the AB's at home but it's very rare. 30-13 down, 20 mins to go... that's smells defeat to some countries but an opportunity to define the possiblity for the AB's.
I was there to witness the deafening silence at that last minute try and emaculate kick from Beauden Barrett. The foot race in the 55th minute between Barrett and Dyantyi was pure 🔥 turn on the burners by Beau
On the previous game between the two that year, the Springboks beat the All Blacks away in Wellington and then the following match which it was this one the All Blacks beat the Springboks on their home turf in Pretoria. This is what you call rivalry. Yeah the Springboks were leading the whole game till that final kick😔but great rugby from the two giants of the game what a rivalry, I remember this game like yesterday when I was there in Loftus, beautiful game of rugby from the old foes. Go Bokke!❤ The champions, best rugby team in the world.😊😎🔥🔥🔥
@@Trajan2401 you contradicting yourself on this one lad read your comment again😅being a world champion is being the best, I mean numbers don't lie look at the score board we at the top.
Wow check out the reaction from the Springbok coach and Co. Shows just how much the AB's worry them so every trie is crucial to get as far ahead as possible before the last 10 minutes of the game if they have any chance of a "W".
Trust me……to beat the All Blacks you have to play all 80 mins to beat em…….how many times have we seen them make massive comebacks on the stroke of the last final minutes - the Boks like many other international teams before them let it slip away……great game had me on the edge
Two world Champion teams. Spring Boks current World Champions. I cannot wait for this stinkin Covid 19 to be over. All Blacks all the way! Spring Boks, so glad you beat the Poms, to be World Champions.
What a game! Wonderful advertisement for rugby, too. Anyone who thinks rugby is just strongmen running around bashing one another just doesn’t know the game. The discipline, the strength of body and mind, the will to keep going, the team work and unity… rugby is a great extension of the human spirit!
I’m a proud Kiwi and S.A commentators are by far the best in the world. No nonsense no sniping just good, honest and heart calling. As impartial as can be.
Never ever mess with my team Springboks, because you might be in the lead and you never know what would be coming, lessgo boy! Too Strong, we never back down Spirngboks!!! 💪💪💪
yes but fortunately the Poms thought beating the ABs was their final, they couldn't get up two weeks in a row. Eddie Jones took his eyes off the prize.
@@tewaewae Wouldn't matter, it was knockout, they had to win to get to the final and I do think the rabid vitriol from many of the top tier rugby nations media would have been too much for NZ to bear for another 4 years. I'm happy in a way the AB's lost.
