I don’t know exactly where it cut me off, but I was going to tell you about Forgeries and how the book of Enoch does NOT teach that the full moon is the new moon, as some suggest. My comments are in parenthesis. In chapter 78 of Enoch we read, [Chapter 78] The Sun and Moon: xthe Waxing and Waning of the Moon. “1, And the names of the sun are the following: the first Orjares, and the second Tomas. 2 And the moon has four names: the first name is Asonja, the second Ebla, the third Benase, and the fourth Erae. 3 These are the two great luminaries: their circumference is like the circumference (circle) of the heaven (no flat earth), and the size of both is alike (same size). 4 In the circumference of the sun there are seven portions of light which are added to it more than to the moon, and in definite measures it is transferred till the seventh portion of the sun is exhausted. 5 And they set and enter the portals of the west, and make their revolution by the north, and come forth through the eastern portals on the face of the heaven. 6 And when the moon “rises” one-fourteenth part appears in the heaven (sliver): [the light becomes full in her]: on the “fourteenth day” she “accomplishes” her light (obviously there a was 14 days of the building of the moon, before she accomplishes or became “full of light” on the FIFTEENTH day of the moon! i.e. the moon wasn’t Full until the end of the 14th/15th day of it’s building). 7 And “fifteen” parts of light are transferred to her till the “fifteenth day” (when) her light is “accomplished”, according to the sign of the year, and she becomes “fifteen parts” (halfway through its cycle of waxing and waning!) and the moon “grows” by (the addition of) “fourteenth parts” (Enoch is describing the course of the moon, in increments or parts, obviously from its Conjunction with the sun, until Full Moon on the 15th of the month/moon!). 8 And in her waning (the moon) decreases on the “first day” (of her waning) to “fourteen parts” of her light, on the “second” (day) to “thirteen parts” of light, on the third (day) to “twelve”, on the fourth (day) to “eleven”, on the fifth (day) to “ten” (parts), on the “sixth” (day) to “nine” (parts), on the “seventh” (day) to “eight” (parts), on the “eighth” (day) to “seven” (parts), on the “ninth” (day) to “six” (parts), on the “tenth” (day) to “five” (parts), on the “eleventh” (day) to “four” (parts), on the “twelfth” (day) to “three” (parts, she is going away), on the “thirteenth” (day) to “two” (parts), on the “fourteenth” (day of waning) to the half of a seventh, and “all her remaining light” disappears wholly on the “fifteenth” (day of her waning! And after the moon’s waxing/growing from conjunction with the sun, and its waning form full moon, the process begins anew!). 9 And in certain months the month has twenty-nine days and ONCE TWENTY -EIGHT (this happens in in February, and that’s what woke me up to a later date, written, after Enoch was gone. This was all being discussed during the time of Julius Caesar). 10 And Uriel showed me another law: when light is transferred to the moon, and on which side it is transferred to her by the sun. 11 During all the period during which the “moon is “growing” in her light”, she is transferring it to herself when opposite to the sun during fourteen days [her light is accomplished in the heaven, and when she is illumined throughout, her light is accomplished full in the heaven. (Enoch is describing how the moon is “growing” in her light, which has to be from conjunction to full moon) (and then he says) 12 And on the “first day” (of her growing at Conjunction) she is called the “new moon”, “for” (because) on “that day” the light rises upon her” (i.e. light first rises on her at new moon conjunction day, and continues to rise on her for 14 or 15 days till full moon on the 15 th day of the moon/month! Some are trying to say that the first day when the moon is full, it is call New Moon, and that not what it is the saying) 13 She becomes full moon exactly on the day when the sun sets in the west, and from the east she rises at night, and the moon shines the whole night through till the sun rises over against her and the moon is seen over against the sun. 14 On the side whence the light of the moon comes forth, there again she “wanes” till all the light vanishes and all the days of the month are at an end, (notice it is teaching that the month does not end until it gets through waning, and by default a new month begins to rebuild at Conjunction!) and her circumference is empty, void of light. (At conjunction, when the old moon ends, and a new one begins at conjunction) 15 And three months she makes of thirty days, and at her time she makes three months of twenty- nine days each, in which she “accomplishes” her “waning” in the “first” “period of time” (when is “accomplished” or finished, the first period of time begins again at conjunction!), and in the first portal for one hundred and seventy-seven days. 16 And in the time of her going out she appears for three months (of) thirty days each, and for three months she appears (of) twenty-nine each. 17 At night she appears like a man for twenty days each time, and by day she appears like the heaven, and there is nothing else in her save her light.” [Chapter 79] “1 And now, my son, I have shown thee everything, and the law of all the stars of the heaven is 2 completed. And he showed me all the laws of these for every day, and for every season of bearing rule, and for every year, and for its going forth, and for the order prescribed to it every month 3 and every week: And the “waning” of the moon which takes place in the sixth portal: for in this 4 sixth portal her light is “accomplished” (full moon), and “after that” there is the “beginning of the waning”: (And the waning) which takes place in the first portal in its season, till one hundred and seventy-seven 5 days are accomplished: reckoned according to weeks, twenty-five (weeks) and two days. She falls behind the sun and the order of the stars exactly five days in the course of one period, and when 6 this place which thou seest has been traversed. Such is the picture and sketch of every luminary which Uriel the archangel, who is their leader, showed unto me.”

You asked, “Where can we read in the Bible where it says the dark moon is the new moon?” And I could say, where in the Bible does it say that the full moon is the new moon? But that is not the way to study. I agree we should read Enoch for ourselves, and I am going to post where he devoted a whole chapter on the waxing and waning of a 30 day month, but first, I am going to ask you a real question. Enoch teachers that a 30 day month ENDS after 15 days of waning, and at that time the moon is empty and void of light! My question is, shouldn’t a 29 or 30 day month END where it began, 29 or 30 days earlier??? And should it be full of light instead of empty and void of light, if the first day of the month was a full moon? Read the whole thing, my comments are in parentheses, or jump down to verse 13 and you can come back and read the whole chapter. [Chapter 78] The Sun and Moon: the Waxing and Waning of the Moon. Some are trying to say that the first day when the moon is full, it is call New Moon, and that not what it is saying) 13 She becomes full moon exactly on the day when the sun sets in the west, and from the east she rises at night, and the moon shines the whole night through till the sun rises over against her and the moon is seen over against the sun. 14 On the side whence the light of the moon comes forth, there again she “wanes” till all the light vanishes and all the days of the month are at an *END*, (notice it is teaching that the month does not “end” until it gets through the 29 or 30 days waxing *AND* waning, and THEN all the days of the month are at an *end*, and by default a new month begins to rebuild again at Conjunction! Please explain how a 30 day month of waxing and waning can end, after 15 days of waning? If the full moon really was the first day, as you suggest, wouldn’t it end again with a full moon 30 days later, instead of 15 days when no light is in her again, *and her circumference is empty*, *void of light*??? And when it says, *and her circumference is empty*, *void of light*. (This happens at conjunction, when the old moon ends, and a new one begins at conjunction, when her circumference is EMPTY, VOID OF LIGHT, 29 or 30 days after the waxing and waning)

@@brotherarnoldbowen8323 I am still studying this exact subject and don't claim to be right, although I do believe the FULL MOON is NEW MOON. Here are a few observations. Psalms 81:3 NIV Sound the ram’s horn at the New Moon, and when the moon is FULL, on the day of our festival; 4 this is a decree for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob. 5 When God went out against Egypt, he established it as a statute for Joseph. Genesis 1:14-16 NIV And God said, “Let there be lightS in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark SACRED TIMES, and days and years, 15 and let them be lightS in the vault of the sky to give LIGHT on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made TWO great lightS-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser LIGHT to govern the night. He also made the stars. The dark moon phase doesn't give light at night only the FULL moon gives great light at night. Also, Luke 23:44 44 It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, 45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. The only time you can have a full Solar Eclipse is in the dark phase of the moon on the 14th-15th day AFTER the FULL moon. Some versions of the Bible even say it was because of an eclipse of the Sun for 3 hours. Also, other ancient literature, "The works of Dionysius" and "Eusebius of Caesarea" also tell us there was an eclipse the day Yahushua died. Passover. Also read the footnoted in Enoch. and Enoch's 177 days exactly from the 1st NEW FULL MOON to the 7th NEW FULL MOON is ALWAYS exactly 177 days. We are in the 7th month right now. 29 days or 30 days NO 28 DAYS. but about every three years there is a 13th month added so as to reconcile with the 365 Solar days. Also, the Stars have a lot to do with knowing how to figure the exact New Moon day. Good find: Apocrypha Ecclesiasticus 43: 6 : “He made the moon also to serve in her season for a declaration of times, and a sign of the world.” verse 7: “From the moon is the sign of feasts, a light that decreaseth in her perfection.” I believe the Catholics slightly mistranslated the Bible on purpose, so as to hide the true New Moon and true Sabbath days. Mikal Shabbat Scriptural studies YT has hundreds of videos and over a decade of New Moon data and dates. You might want to check him out. Have a great day.
