Dear brother in Yeshua , I'm having a very serious look at this biblical calendar to establish Shabbat issue. I've just come out of the SDA church and started to observe the Feasts of Yehovah. I still keep Saturday as my Shabbat. I've been attending Saturday online meetings with a group of fellow believers but just last Saturday I had this idea/thought and it had to do with something I read a few months (maybe a year ago) about someone saying that why didn't we start obsering the biblical calendar Shabbats. (I didn't understand what the person was commenting about) I didn't realize it back then but I may see what that person meant back then and last Saturday my friends couldn't expound upon it too much and just said that Saturday is the correct day and that its never been changed and they cant use the biblical calendar for more than just the Feasts of Yehovah. Since last Saturday I've been unable to let this issue rest. I've been discussing with family and a friend. My friend asked me where in the bible has it been commanded to use lunisolar calendar to establish our Shabbats. Where did Yehovah teach Israel to do so? How can we corroborate it with Scriptural Evidence? This has been a long conversation and sharing with what I've been able to comprehend so far with my friend today. Any material you can share? Can you share via email? I used a theory that Yehovah established each month with the sighting of the first sliver of new moon to understand when exactly Noah entered the ark, when the waters started to fall... When the ark rested atop the mountain...when Noah came out of the ark to get a sense of the biblical calendar. Understanding that the 1st month was Abib even though the bible doesn't specifically say so but knowing that he taught Moses that that month would be called First of the months and knowing that he said First of the month when relating the flood in Noahs time I found out that it was the first of the month the first day was Noah's birthday. That's what I read in 1 Samuel 20:5 Didn't you ever read Genesis 1:14? The new moon starts a new day and begins at sunset to sunset. It also governs months and years. It's YHVH'S reckoning of time.

Sight means to physically see the first sliver of the monthly renewed moon. What you are trying to tell me is that Genesis 1:14 is a crock. Israel has been watching every month for the renewed first sliver of the renewed moon every month for 6,000 years. This method is YHVH GOD'S method of time keeping. The keeping of the Feast months, so Israel can keep their Feasts on the correct day.
@@brotherarnoldbowen8323 We know the times and seasons of the Feast days. At the sighting of the renewed moon in the month of the Aviv is the beginning of the year for Israel. Exodus chapter 12. From there, every month can begin at the sighting of the renewed moon. A calendar is of no use to YHVH. Passover is on the 14th of the Aviv, which means ripe barley, and the day Israel came out of Egypt. Passover always falls on Aviv 14. Aviv 15 is the first day of Unleavened Bread. During the Feast of Unleavened Bread there is a weekly Sabbath. The following day, the first day of the week is YHVH'S Wave Sheaf and First Fruits Feast. That is the beginning of counting the omer. After 7 Sabbaths and one day is the Feast of Weeks commonly called as Pentecost which means 50. This was when the disciples received the power of the Holy Spirit to perform miracles to promote the gospel of the kingdom. These are the spring Feasts and Yeshua fulfilled all of them to the exact day and hour. He will fulfill the fall Feasts in like manner. The fall Feasts are the book of the Revelation. Feast of Trumpets happens on the first day of the 7th month. Because no one but the Father in heaven knows when the renewed moon will be sighted, comes the saying, " No one knows the day nor hour but the Father in heaven." But we do know the times and seasons of the Feast of Trumpets as it happens in the 7th month. Trumpets is the resurrection Feast. ( Revelation 11:14-18 ). One must learn how Israel rehearsed this Feast since the giving of the Torah at Mt. Sinai. I don't have time nor space here to show you, but it is represented by the parables of the workers in the fields at harvest time. One is taken and one is left. It also concerns the foolish and wise virgins and oil in there lamps. Do you even keep the Feasts of the Lord, sir? You’re correct in how the name of God is spoken in ancient Hebrew. The Jews do not use the name for it is holy and so they use Adonai or HaShem instead. Adonai is Lord and HaShem is the Name. Adonai is meant for prayer and HaShem in conversation about God. I think when Gentiles are using Hebrew then they should be respectful and use Adonai or HaShem just as the Jews do. The word God is basically a pagan term means to call or invoke. However this has been commonly used for centuries by many religions when referring to their deities. Those gods are neither Christian nor Judaic in origin. Many Christians are beginning to realize the difference between the two. Jesus or Yeshua referred to the Lord as Father or Abba which I think it just fine and shows a more personal relationship with the Lord.

What earthly father would want their children to not call them by his name? None that how many. But more so our Heavenly FATHER - would want us to know and call Him by His Name. I agree with the Dead Sea Scrolls. There were TWO Calendars found in The Dead Sea Scrolls and it proves Lunar Sabbaths! There is no "thirteenth month" anywhere in the entire Bible - only the "first" to "twelfth" months ! The Sadducee Temple priests officiated the weekly Sabbaths and High Days at the time of Christ, who never contested their solar calendar. In 66AD the Pharisee Anti-Roman (Anti-Fasces/ANTIFA) Zealot rebels, seized control of the Temple. When contested for control, 20000 Judean 'Jewish' Edomites assisted the Zealots and murdered most of the Sadducee aristocracy, priests and hundreds of the Jerusalem populace. The ANTIFA Zealot rebels then appointed their own accursed lunar calendar high priest, who was the last to be seen standing in the Holy Place THREE AND A HALF YEARS later, when the prince of the Roman Empire arrived and desolated Jerusalem, Judea and the Jews in 70 AD - culminating in the taking of Masada another THREE AND A HALF YEARS AFTERWARDS. Unable to establish the Biblical calendar, Constantine changed Sunday to the first day of his new Roman week, in honour of the Resurrection. Later Constantine's son Constantius ll, knowing the Pharisee's lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar to be Babylonian and Canaanite, forbade them from signaling the start of their lunar months across the Empire from Jerusalem. As a concequence, Hillel ll was forced to choose a Roman day for their weekly 'sabbath', and he chose Saturday - the seventh day of Constantine's NEW Roman week. The rest of their lunar calendar they kept by Rabbinical calculation. Thus the true Biblical Temple calendar was lost until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scroll's. The Dead Sea Scroll's solar calendar, corrected to the Sadducee 19th Abib Omer Wave Sheaf, is the correct Biblical calendar, revealing the weekly Sabbaths and High Days - which is why the Zionist State of Israel suppressed them for 40 years before they were leaked out on micro fish copies. Saturday was only chosen as the Jewish 'sabbath' by Heliel II about 300 years after Christ. He standadised the Jewish calendar. Even before that, the weekly 'sabbath' they kept was the Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' that the Pharisees introduced and enforced in the Synagogues, after the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. The true weekly Sabbath was already hidden by the Pharisees in favour of the Babylonian lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar. Knowing this, Constantine's son forbade them from signaling their pagan lunar calendar observations across the Roman Empire. However Constantine himself was unable to determine the true Biblical weekly Sabbath, but he was able to determine that Christ was resurrected in that year on the Roman solar calendars "Sunday". Therefore, in honour of the resurrection he changed Sunday to the first day of his NEW Roman week, and also made Sunday the day of rest. Without Roman authority to signal their Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' across the empire, Hillel II and other anti-Christ Jews were forced to choose a Roman weekday as their "new sabbath" and he chose the seventh day of Constantine's new Roman week - i.e. "Saturday" ! Rabbi 'Sages' don't tell you all this and most Rabbis don't even know this themselves ! Karaite Jews today still keep the Babylonial lunar calendar and many Christians have been seduced into doing the same. Jericho was an ancient lunar calendar observation city dedicated to and named after their moon god. The Bible called Jericho the "accursed city" and Joshua was commanded to totally destroy it and its inhabitants after marching around it once for six consecutive days, and seven times on the seventh day - i.e. 13 times in total ! I think that, as opposed to the Second Advent and the "Marriage of the Lamb" that nobody knows when, the preceding "great and dreadful day of the Lord" can actually be established as the 20th March 2031. The world will feel that ominous consuming fire approaching and will run around trying to hide, while Christians enter into their inner prayer "chambers". When the Christians come out, there will be no OTHER flesh and blood survivers - who will be burnt up and trodden "as ash under their feet." They will mourn for their friends and relatives who weren't "saved", but SOMETIME afterwards will witness the return of Christ coming from east to west. Raising their eyes they will be transformed in an instant, allowing them to rise up and meet His RETURN. Thereafter, they will be consoled when He "wipes the tears" from their eyes and takes care of them like as "calves of the stall". That's how I perceive these future Biblical events. Don't the dead in Christ rise "first" - a great multitude ? Then those living Christians that are "left" come safely out of their prayer chambers - AFTER the "wrath", to "tread upon the ashes of the wicked who have been removed from the earth" - "The righteous shall NEVER be removed but the wicked shall be cut off". These "saved" righteous remnant "lift up their eyes", and are then "changed in the twinkling of an eye", and able to rise up and meet Christ returning with this great host..... The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text: The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day. Will we qualify to enter into that glorious "day" of rest ? So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was also created near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031. There is no doubt that Christ spent three full nights and three full days in the tomb, but how long did He hang on the tree/stake/cross ? Surely even in death Yahshua fulfilled every law of His Father ! i.e. Christ could not have been left on the cross overnight for nearly 12 hours before a “morning start of day”, or 18 hours before a “mid-day start of day” ! The day therefore does indeed start at sunset ! John 19:31 supports the view that Christ was crucified and died on the afternoon of the 14th Abib preparation day, was taken down from the cross and placed in the tomb at eventide/sunset demarcating the days. The 15th Abib Passover High Day Sabbath then commenced at sunset. Christ had to be off the cross by sunset. He was in the tomb for three full nights and three full days before His 4th day resurrection - as Lord of the Sabbath Day on the next WEEKLY Sabbath, which was the “First of the Sabbaths” after the Passover, initiating the Feast of Weeks count to Pentecost. All the DSS's WEEKLY Sabbaths are correct and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Day of Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Feast of Tabernacles with it's Last Great Day. However the Dead Sea Scrolls does differ with the Sadducee Temple Priest's Feasts of Weeks by starting one week after the Temple's Feast of Weeks. Zachariah, John the Baptist's father officiated in the Temple, so that Feast of Weeks is the correct one for this reason and other reasons as well.

This coming Tuesday May 7th on the Gregorian calendar is the new moon. That same May 7th is day 1 on the new month and Shabbat the next 3 Tuesdays ? Is this month 2 or 3 on the calendar of YUH ?
In Ezekiel Chapter 46, we have a scriptural example showing the priest in the temple following the instructions of YHWH, preparing the New Moon sacrifices and offerings, and then in Numbers 10:10, we have clear instructions showing when they were doing it!!! With the above scriptural instructions, it takes only a few minutes to prove what and when a new moon is. A lot of people want to tell us when a new moon is, but never ever prove it from scripture! Ezekiel 46 Chapter gives us a clear picture of the Priests in the Temple actually offering, on the New Moon, the New Moon sacrifices and offerings, and then Numbers 10:10 clearly says it was at the BEGINNING of the month, not the next day or when we see a sliver, etc, it all happens in the solar day of the new lunar cycle, which is called, the DAY of the New Moon throughout Scripture! This is “conclusive” proof as to what and when a New Moon is, and it only takes a few minutes to conclusively prove it, and it cannot be intelligently argued against, and if someone wishes to try, in order to keep their own tradition, they are arguing against Elohim Almighty himself, not man, and this is not wise! Read the above again and then check it out with Ezekiel Chapter 46 and compare it with the instructions of YHWH in Numbers 10:10 and then we can stop all the foolishness of trying to tell someone else when the DAY of the New Moon is, contrary to the instructions of Yuh Wuh. Again, it only takes a few minutes to prove what and when a new moon is. A lot of people want to tell us when a new moon is, but never ever prove it from scripture! Here is “conclusive” proof as to what and when a New Moon is, and it only took seven minutes to conclusively prove it, and it cannot be intelligently argued against! Some say a New Moon is when you see this or when you see that, but the truth is you do not see anything, we walk walk by faith, not by sight: 2 Corinthians 5:7 and we live by every word of God/Elohim, Deuteronomy 8:3 for the mouth of YHWH, have spoken it. You owe it to yourself to look up the biblical definition of new moon, because if we don’t know what it is, how can we know when it is??? A new moon is a new cycle or new month. Numbers 10:10 says, (KJV) “Also in the day of your “gladness” [Moeds 4150 Lev-23], and in your “solemn days”, and in the “beginnings” of your months” (lunar cycles) “ye shall blow with the trumpets (that day, at the beginning of the lunar cycles, not next day after cycle has begun) over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings” (these sacrifices and offering are at the beginning of the lunar cycle, not the next day!); that they may be to you for a “memorial” before your God: I am the LORD your God.” Again, Numbers 10:10 (KJV) says, “Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the “beginnings” of your months [lunar cycles], “ye shall blow [then] with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings”; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God/Elohim. Notice each month there is a solar day that the old moon or lunar cycle ends “ in “ and a new lunar cycle begins “in”, both “in” the same solar day. Also Notice that the scripture says it is the “beginning” of your months or the beginning of the new lunar cycle/month, NOT the end of the old one, in which the sacrifices and offerings are PREPARED and blew over with the trumpet, i.e. at the “Beginning” of the new cycle, which has to be the day of the “conjunction” when one cycle/month ends, and a new one begins “in”, and that’s the solar day of the lunar new cycle, or the solar day of the New Moon. Please notice that the scripture is referring to the “beginning” of the new lunar cycle when the priest offered the sacrifices and peace offering etc for the New Moons and blew over them with the trumpet. He would not PREPARE the sacrifices and offerings, and then wait till the next day or when he sees a sliver to blow over them with the trumpets, he would offer them and blow the trumpet over them on the same (conjunction) day that he “prepared” them. The scripture says in Psalm 119:55-60 KJVS [55] “I have “remembered thy name”, O LORD in the night, and have “kept thy law”. [56] This I had, because “I kept thy precepts”. [57] Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would “keep thy words”. [58] I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word. [59] I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy “testimonies”. [60] I made haste, and “delayed not to keep thy “commandments”. It’s a commandment to keep the new moon cycle at the beginning of a new month, and I believe David observed the new moon at the beginning of the new cycle as command by YHWH to the priest and to the people to worship on that day, as Also Ezekiel 46:1-12 shows. Numbers 10:10 is referring specifically to the “beginning” of the new lunar cycle and not the end of the old cycle. I cannot see how it can be intelligently argued against, I want to be like David, who was a man after YHWH’S on heart. At any rate, it was at the beginning, of the new cycle or New Moon that the worship day was ordained by the Almighty. Remember YHWH says that in the “beginnings” of your months, how could he have said it any planer? What else could he have said to make it any plainer?

My brother. I see what you are saying but it says three days AND three nights.... Fri night Sat night and Sunday night. Inclusive reckoning cant be exclusive of three nights. Appreciate your feedback my brother.
I know it says three “days” and three nights, but If he was not put in the tomb until late Friday, how could he have been in the tomb for three full days, all day Friday, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday? Look up the definition of inclusive reckoning, or see lunarsabbath.info/id45.html
I have now added a page 5 which covers this issue from every single famous theologian that have had no trouble in agreeing with each other since these facts are so easy to see and understand. They all confirm the Jewish way of reckoning time was to regard any part of a day, however small, included within a period of days, as a full day. If one can accept this simple fact, then they should have no trouble with Matthew 12:40. Now I couldn't argue with the inclusive reckoning, but when Messiah says three nights as well, the nights would be Friday Saturday and Sunday night. Otherwise Messiah would have said three days and two nights. Or He could of said three days as well and left out the three nights mention. The days and nights are a witness to confirm the time He was talking about. If Messiah rose Sunday ...then like I said, He would of worded it, three days or three days and two nights... appreciate this study brother Arnold in Messiah.

Also Ask yourself, we only see part of a day in the tomb on Friday, and only PART of a day on Sunday, because the Bible says that when they came early on the first day of the week (Sunday), he was not in the tomb all of the third day!!! The following conclusively shows that he was not in the tomb a full day on the third day of the week! John 20:1 KJV says, [1] “The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.” Matthew 28:6 KJV says, [6] “He is not here: “for he is risen”, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Mark 16:6 KJVS [6] “And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; “he is not here”: behold the place where they laid him.” Luke 24:6-7 KJVS [6] “He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, [7] Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” All these scriptures are not possible without inclusive reckoning!!!

Now I am following along, and to add to your understanding, there are also some who say that three days and three nights in the heart of the earth did not mean grave but rather Jerusalem. And that the only sign given like Jonah was a call to repentance. I will have to meditate on all these things as sometimes its all to much at once, we just recently came to understand the lunar Sabbaths. The following conclusively proves that the Jews themselves don’t know where Saturday Sabbath comes from and that the original Sabbath was originally by the phases of the moon! I found the following in their own Encyclopedia! “SABBATH” (Hebrew Shabbath), the weekly day of rest, observed by the Jews from sunset of Friday to sunset of Saturday, by Christians on Sunday and Mohammedans on Friday. The Jewish festivals are also known as Sabbaths, and Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is called the “Sabbath of Sabbaths. 1. The Day. The ORIGIN OF THE SABBATH IS OBSCURE. Some believe that it is connected to the four phases of the moon, others with the seven planets”. From the above, it seems that Rabbi Max Joseph was not sure where the weekly Sabbath originated. Was it connected to the four phases of the moon or connected to the seven planets? The following shows that he found the answer and that it was originally by the phases of the moon and in my 1943 Universal Jewish Encyclopedia volume 5 page 410 edited by Isaac Landman under the article “ HOLIDAYS”, it reads, “1. Sabbath and New Moon (Rosh Hodesh), both periodically recurring in the course of the year. THE NEW MOON IS STILL, and THE SABBATH ORIGINALLY WAS, dependent upon the LUNAR CYCLE. Both date back to the nomadic period of Israel. ORIGINALLY the New Moon was celebrated in the same way as the Sabbath; gradually it became less important, while the Sabbath became more and more a day of religion and humanity, of religious meditation and instruction, of peace and delight of the soul, and produced powerful and beneficent effects outside of Judaism.” Max Joseph is not the only Jewish Rabbi and author in the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia who studied this subject and found that the weekly Sabbath was originally determined by the phases of the moon. In the 1943 Universal Jewish Encyclopedia volume 10 page 482 edited by Isaac Landman under the article “WEEK”, written by Simon Cohen, who was the Director of Research, states that the weeks originally corresponded to the phases of the moon, he writes, “WEEK (in Hebrew shabua). The idea of the week, as a subdivision of the month, seems to have arisen in Babylonia, where each lunar month was divided into four parts, corresponding to the four phases of the moon. The first week of each month began with the new moon, so that, as the lunar month was one or two days more than four periods of seven days, these additional days were not reckoned at all. Every seventh day (sabbatum) was regarded as an unlucky day. This method of reckoning time spread westward through Syria and Palestine, and was adopted by the Israelites, probably after they settled in Palestine. With the development of the importance of the Sabbath as a day of consecration and emphasis laid upon the significant number seven, the WEEK became more and more DIVORCED FROM ITS LUNAR CONNECTION, so that by the time of the second Temple it was merely a period of seven days and no longer depended on the new moon. The Dead Sea Scrolls To further prove the “weeks” were originally connected to the moon we read fragments of lunar days 4 through 25 which were uncovered at Qumran describing the moon's appearance and movements in relation to the sun and the ancient weeks. Wise, Abegg and Cooke, in their book The Dead Sea Scrolls, A New Translation, translate the fragment for lunar day 8 as follows - 4Q317 “On the eighth of the month [chodesh], the moon rules all the day in the midst of the sky...and when the sun sets, its light ceases to be obscured, and thus the moon begins to be revealed on the FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK" (pp. 301-303). This not only Proves that each month, the 8th day of the month, counting the New Moon day, was always the 7th day of the week, and this is conclusive evidence from the Dead Sea Scrolls that the "9th" day of each month is the first day of the week, which day, begins at “sun set”. This is an absolute when using deductive reasoning.” The scroll teaches it is the 8th day before sunset and when the sun sets it becomes the 9th at sunset, and is the first day of the WEEK. This proves they understood the day passes from the 8th day to the 9th day at sunset, NOT sunrise, and is the first day of the Lunar WEEK. We also have eyewitness from Philo who lived at the same time our Saviour did. Philo spoke very highly of a group of People called Essenes) referring to them as the disciples of Moses and how they had forsaken all and devoted their whole lives following the law of Moses and even stated that they could not be deceived, which proves he believed like them, and also kept Lunar Sabbaths, or he could not have said what he did about having a full moon at the end of the second week, same as we Lunar Sabbath keepers do today. Philo writes, ON THE CONTEMPLATIVE LIFE Chapter V11-(63) … through Chapter V111 (65) page 704. We read, “But they are the disciples of Moses, who in the abundance of their wisdom have learnt from their earliest infancy to love truth, and also continue to the end of their lives impossible to be deceived. (Philo would not have made this statement about them, unless he also kept Lunar WEEKS and Sabbaths, which shows in his writings.)

God/Elohim himself kept Lunar Sabbaths! He finished his work “on” the seventh day of the moon, and then rested on the the seventh day of the week, a lunar weekly Sabbath, Genesis 2:1-2 Father YHWH is a Lunar Sabbath keeper! A Lunar Sabbath keeper, is one who counts the day of the new moon as the first day of the month, and then counts six work days, and then rest on the weekly seventh day which will be on the EIGHTH day of the month each month. Father YHWH is a Lunar Sabbath keeper, and we must be imitators of him! The Bible mention’s that there are “two” “back to back” seventh days in the creation week, the one that he finished up his work “on”, and one he rested “on”! That further supports Lunar Sabbath, “because” the first seventh day that he finished his work “on”, had to be counting the New Moon day as day one of the month, and then the six work days, making the first seventh day, and it had to be the seventh day of the month that he finished his work on, or he would have been breaking his own law by finishing up his work “on” the weekly seventh day! It was the “second” “seventh day” that was the weekly Sabbath day that he rested “on”, after working on his creation for six days, which would have been the EIGHTH day of the month/moon that he rested on! Genesis 2:1-2 (KJV) “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. [2] “And “on” the “seventh day” God “ended” his work which he had made; “and he rested “on” “the seventh day” from all his work which he had made.” Think about this, we Sabbath keeper do not “finish” our work “on” “the seventh day”, and then turn around and rest on the remainder of it, which would be finishing our work “on” the seventh day and then resting “on” the same seventh day that we finished our work “on”, and neither did he! Lunar Sabbath keepers do it the same way as he did. Our New Moon worship day is day one of the month, and then we finish our work “on” the “seventh day” of the month, which “seventh day” is six days later”, and then we rest the “weekly seventh day” on the “next day” after the first seventh day of the month! Yes, a very important subject, let me think of where my notes on the subject are. Meantime check most all notable scholars agree it does not and cannot be referring to 72 hours in the grave, you can count for yourself. He was placed in the tomb late on the preparation day and the sabbath drew on and rose again early the first day of the week while still dark which is mathematically impossible for that to be 72 hours as some suggest, and when they finally realize that, they try to create another sabbath, i. e. 2 Sabbaths in the crucifixion week, that doesn’t work either. Brother Mathew has a good article on it also, but check with the commentators on it in the meantime. This might help. The Bible often uses Inclusive reckoning, which means that any part of a day that something happens in, is counted as a whole day, much like someone being born in the middle of a day, that whole day is counted as the day of their birth, or their birth day. The following shows that the Messiah used Inclusive reckoning because he said he would be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights, but we know that was NOT 72 hours BECAUSE, Using Roman calendar days, for easy figuring, let's say he was put in the tomb late Friday evening as Saturday Sabbath drew on, and rose sometime the 3 rd day, which would be on Sunday, the first day of the week, that’s NOT 72 hours, from late Friday evening to early Sunday morning! It would be part of a day on Friday, all of Saturday, and when they got there early on Sunday, the first day of the week, he had already risen. Again, that’s not 72 hours. He said he would be in the heart of the earth, for 3 days and 3 nights, and some people teach that is 72 hours, but not with Inclusive reckoning. He was laid in the tomb on “preparation day” late on Abib 14, and was in the tomb all night and all day on Abib 15, which is a weekly sabbath, and he rose on Abib 16, which is the first day of the week, and he calls that 3 days and 3 nights, when from Friday evening to Sunday morning is only part of one day on Friday, and one night and day on Saturday, and part of the third day on Sunday, again that’s NOT 72 hours as some suggest! Now with Inclusive reckoning, that is 3 days and 3 nights, BECAUSE any part of a day is counted as a whole, and many times it is used in scripture, as we see here! The Messiah was not confused as wound be the case if the Bible didn’t use Inclusive reckoning, i.e. including the whole day when something began or ended in it, it was counted as a whole! When someone was to be circumcised the eighth day, and they were born in the middle of the day, or near the end of it, that is the first day of their life, but that’s NOT 24 hours, but it is considered their birthday, and the first day of their live even though they were only in it for a short while before a new day began. Again, "Part of day one on Friday", "all of day two on Saturday", and "part of day three on Sunday" the first day of the week, is called three days and three nights", using Inclusive reckoning. Now let’s talk biblical time. We know from Scripture that the crucifixion took place late on Abib 14, which was preparation day, the and the 15th was the weekly Sabbath, and the 16th was the first day of the week, instead of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. He was put in the tomb late on the 14th, and was in there all day and night on the 15th, and rose again early the first day of the week on the 16th, that is still NOT 72 hours! Mark chapter 15:42 through to chapter 16:2, gives a clear running account of what happen. Keep in mind that the chapters were added by man and sometimes the thought is still going on into the next chapter, as you will see in the following. Mark chapter 15:42 through to chapter 16:2, says, [42] “And now when the even was come, because it was the “preparation”, that is, “the day before the sabbath” (14th), [43] Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counsellor, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus. [44] And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead. [45] And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph. [46] And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre. [47] And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.” (And Continuing on into chapter 16) Mark 16:1-2 [1] “And when the sabbath was past”, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, “had bought sweet spices”, that they might come and anoint him. [2] And very early in the morning the “first day of the week”, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.” (We know he had already risen when they arrived at the tomb.) Some people assume there were only one set of spices, but there "two sets of spices", one they had on hand, knowing they would need them, being that he was being crucified, and certain others that they bought after the sabbath passed, which would have been purchased from a merchant or someone around 8:00 when the sabbath was over, probably needed a few more in addition to the spices they already had, that they prepared on preparation day, after returning from the tomb, and then resting on the sabbath. Here is the account, saying basically the same as Mark, with a little more detail. Luke 23:52-56 KJV says, [52] "This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. [53] And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. [54] *And that day was the *preparation*, and the *sabbath* drew on*. [55] And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. [56] *And they returned, and *prepared spices* and ointments; and *rested the sabbath day* according to the commandment." Those spices were prepared BEFORE the sabbath, but the certain others were bought AFTER the sabbath had passed, making TWO sets of spices. Mark 16:1-2 KJVS [1] "And when the *sabbath was past*, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had *bought sweet spices*, that they might come and anoint him. [2] And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun." Luke 24:1 KJV says, [1] "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices *which they had prepared*, *and *certain others* with them." The certain other spices were obviously the ones they brought after the sabbath passed, probably discovered they needed something else, and the Sabbath would have been over around 8:00 that time of year, giving them plenty of time to purchase them, and I’m sure that some merchants would be glad to sell them after the sabbath had passed. In conclusion, we see that they prepared some spices BEFORE the Sabbath, and bought more spices AFTER the Sabbath which would have been over at around 8:00, at that time of the year/March. The question arises, how could they have prepared spices that they hadn't bought yet, unless there were TWO sets of spices? This is just one of the many problems wrong with the Wednesday crucifixion scenario that is presented, and I can show that there was “only one” Sabbath mentioned in the crucifixion week, NOT two, as some suggest, and the weekly Sabbath was called an "high day", not a high day Sabbath, as some suggest, but the scripture says, "that” Sabbath day" was a high day, and it was called that because it was also the first day of unleavened bread, which is on the 15 th , which is the weekly sabbath. Being that this is such a lengthy subject that branches out into many studies, I would admonish everyone to study for themselves. Brother Mathew has an article, called the sign of Jonah, which explains how that the scripture does not teach he was in the tomb 72 hours, and show we must understand how they counted, using inclusive reckoning, which many have never heard of, but without it, the Bible would be full of confusion and contradictions. I see no problem with Jubilee and scripture, but if they contradict each other, I stand with the scripture. Chapter 6 says, “Noah Went Forth From The Ark And Made Atonement “1 *And on the *new month* of the *third month* he went forth from the ark, and built an altar on that mountain.”…….. ….”17 For this reason it is ordained and written on the heavenly tablets, that they should celebrate the "*Feast of Weeks*" in *this month* once a year, to renew the covenant every year.* Leviticus 23:34-35 KJV teaches us that the *Feast of Tabernacles* is on the 15 th day of the month, NOT the first day of the new month, as some suggest, which scripturally proves that the full moon is not the new moon, as some suggest, but the fifteenth day of it! It says, [34] “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The *fifteenth day* of *this *seventh month* shall be the *feast of tabernacles* for seven days unto the LORD.“ No problem with Jubilee’s, when we understand the Hebrew definition for new moon, which is Strong's Definition From H2318; the new moon; by implication a month: - month ({-ly}) new moon. There are thousands of ancient manuscripts that say his name is Yahweh, etc, but A name is a SOUND, that’s how we distinguish one being from another, and if we change the sound, we change the name, giving glory to another. Every language in the world has an Alphabet with letters that makes the sound of God’s/Elohim’s name. In Greek, the letters “ia” makes the Yuh sound as proven in the Greek New Testament. Revelation 19:1-6, everyone in heaven is saying Alleluia to the one sitting on his throne, pronounced Allelu Yuh, not Yah as in Yahweh, Yeh, as in Yehovah, Yuh, as in HalleluYuh, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Obadiah, Nehemiah, and all names ending in “iah” make the Yuh sound! They are "hayah" and "hawah". Thus, the next verse says that His Name, YahWah is a memorial forever.
