To be fair jards, i preferred the second camera. Plus we get the hud. Id prefer that camera with maybe a foot cam. But either way man. So proud of you makimg the giant leap to do something you love. And awesome race. So glad you had a good run and brought the car home safe. 👏👏👏bravo!
Yes I will try to work on better angle, but its very limited and hard to do but will try my best (honestly im glad Im even allowed to have 3 cameras at this point I want to have as much footage options as possible)
@Jardier maybe see if you can do a setup like Dirk Schouten. He has a youtube where he posts videos from porsche cup racing. That would be cool, but I think I remember you saying that you're not allowed to put a camera on your helmet. Anyways man, whatever you decide or come up with, I'm gonna be watching regardless✌️
@@Gix321 Yeah sadly not allowed to do that. I dont know how Dirk is allowed to have camera like that but its not allowed in any racing series in Europe I would love to do the same but really cant!
@@Jardier that's weird because Dirk is certainly racing in Europe. Maybe you should msg him and find out how he gets around it. Im sure he would be happy to help out another real life race car driver😉
@@Gix321 Yes I asked, but NLS,VLN,Clio cup, any Europe cups (FIA) are not allowed. So maybe he is lucky in his series but safety standards are very strict in most places. But maybe it will change in future. Hey in Clio it was allowed to use max 1 camera behind driver until I came in with big big big emails :D

Great job. The one compliment I can give is from lap 1 it looked like you belonged. Good luck next race. Agree with others the 2nd camera is so much better.
@jardier my advise to you would be to leave recording from the second camera. GoPro is to low and cant see anything. Just roofs of cars. the other camera doesnt move around and is placed higher so u can see clearly who u are racing with, wich is much better viewing comfort. All an all great video and good luck in next races!
Looking at the onboards from this video and the previous video, it's obvious you did a great job. Looking forward to the next onboard story and of course the next race!
Amazing footage, was glued to the TV the whole video. You really did a very good job for your first race. Only one mistake in the first race is not bad and as you said it saved you from being in that incident two laps later. I'm already excited for the onboard of the second race and of course for the races in Spa in 2 weeks!
First ever touch in less than 5 minutes. Not bad Jards, not bad! 😆 Although these cars look "slow" from far, with how many there are on track, it really intensifies the racing and I bet it feels anything but slow when you're battling. Good job man. Good job.
I personally would enjoy more onboard commentary similar to Perel's Onboard Stories. But that is just my opinion. Anyway good and safe start into the season. Good luck for the next races.

Hey Jardier, looking at the footage it got me wondering - would it be possible to stream directly from GoPro onboard? Maybe it could be banned by organizers or maybe extra battery could be too heavy? Thanks and I am so happy for you, keep it up ❤
Hey mate I would not be allowed to stream plus it would be very complicated plus internet around circuit and heat of the camera. So we will keep official live streams and then video VLOGs and footages from the cameras :)
Came back to your channel after a year. Did fanatec sponsor you a new sim rig? Looks really realistic with bigger monitors and full motion on the seat.
Have you thought about using a 360 camera in the car, that way people can look wherever they want. If they have a VR headset they can be in the car with you😁. I would say Insta360 X4 camera is the one to get.
Oh its not easy, All racing series are very strict with camera use so I dont want to push it, I will find better angle so everyone is happy but dont want to push my luck :D
I have a question. Most probably it's a stupid one, but i'm asking it anyway. How does the fact that you use the clutch for all of your gear changes affect your overall performance? Would you gain any time at all if you didn't do it?
@@GeronymoNr27 Yeah kinda in the rules, they didnt "push" me off technically you know, if for example I would crash that first car its my fault by the rule book :)
@@Jardier if the rule book like this, nobody has to wonder about crashes 😅 A rule like...Leave the other space to live in tracklimits, when he is by your side... would be enough. But ok
Not your fault Jar but GoPro can not do there max resolution at max framerates for very long in any scenario that doesnt have alot of cold air blasting over it... need to lower res or film at 24 - 30 fps
yeah I have special battery that can record for like hour and half but sadly it just overheats in the car as its 65+C. But for next race I will have powerbank and no battery in gopro so it should be good :)
