I love your results! I have this system and they are a fantastic alternative, plus they last anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks! Of course it depends on the application and how rough the client is with their nails, but overall, I think The Apres Gel-X System is fabulous!

I love the look, but I hate that you can't fill them. I think it's a great solution for special occasions, like prom or a wedding where a client wants beautiful nails but doesn't want to commit to a full set with maintenance.

Hi, I do infills with this System. I prep and use Builder Gel.
@zaboosbigadventure
@zaboosbigadventure 5 лет назад
@@mygeorge1951 how does it last? Can you do infinite in fills or is more of a one time thing? I would think it would lose structure at some point. I'm tempted to try that out of myself!

Thank U for the review. I Think it is quite expensive. Forms and acrylic color must be overall cheaper and if the system + gel is not easier, is it then worth it?

Hi Lovely. Awesome video as always. I've decided to give his a go as clients nails are fine but I absolutely detest doing my own lol lol. Can I ask you about where you got the cuticle efile bit from. All the ones I've seen are more pointy (or seem to be). Thanks.

I love this system!! I just got my first set about 2 weeks. My nails are all intact. And yes you can fill them with builder gel. They last about 3-6 weeks. Also if you are near acetone all the time then these nails won’t last because the tip is made out of gel. The girl who did my set was super fasts Is all a learning curve. Her nails look gorgeous!

Isabella G hi. i have been using nyk1 clear b gel. but i have been researching whether you should use apres preps as companys say thay dont work well when mixed brands are used together. im ordering the extend gel to see how it goes but its expensive. im not going to lie, but i have adhered them using acrylic as a test and they have held up for two weeks so far😂 i fo prefer to keep to the same brands but its always out of stock

Liz these are absolutely amazing I do like to watch your videos how you explain everything to detail, that drill bit is so amazing it so does a great job of the cuticle area, I’m glad to see a nail tech etech the inside of the nail tips I find they bond so much better & less lifting for the client, love the shape, and colours you used especially that burgundy one, I love gel so much because of a wonderful lady here called Denisejohn65 she is incredible how she uses builder gel & gel polish, if you get a moment sign up to her channel Liz I have learnt so many amazing tricks and tips from her, thanks for sharing your work dear have an amazing weekend💕💖💗💓💞💝

I got this set the beginning of the year and they lasted me a good month and a week. Towards the week I remember doing laundry and next thing I notice was one of my nails were gone haha! It popped off with no problem and that’s why i prefer my nails with this than arcylic. Arcylic pulls on my natural nails and leave them so so horrible. Im thinking of buying this for myself and also have my bf practice. #savingmoney

I have done several sets. It didn't take long for me to get it down to 23 minutes. That is prep and application. Of course polish and design do take longer. You can shorten your time by flash curing for 10 seconds instead of 30 seconds.

I don't see how these are any different than just regular stick on nails, other than gel instead of glue to stick them on. surely they would last the same amount of time
@Lizzibeth21088
@Lizzibeth21088 5 лет назад
Hannah Poole glue can be broken down in time by lots of different things, water, heat, baths showers all that can contribute to the breakdown of glue. Gel however needs to be soaked in acetone. So I don’t think so 🤷🏻‍♀️ but who knows unless they do a comparison.
@angelinauriostegui4605
@angelinauriostegui4605 5 лет назад
Hannah Poole they are so much different than stick on nails,these nails are not flimsy like the other full coverage nails that I have used.and the fact that you apply them with gel,instead of glue makes a world of difference.

All the filing, drilling and "prep" of the natural nail before hand is not necessary. It's what drew me to the system. If I see a nail file, drill of any sort I am not interested. This video would have turned me off to the system if I hadn't learned about it first elsewhere : /
@Lizzibeth21088
@Lizzibeth21088 5 лет назад
AR Chery of course you have to prep the nail 🙄 Apres themselves tell you to prep the nail. An efile does no more damage than a hand file, it’s not the tools that do the damage it’s the fools using them. I know what I’m doing and I’ll stick to what the manufacturer advise you to do. Thanks though for you comment

Liz you need to look into inails express it's a UK system works very similar but the tips are made of acrylic it works the same way but you get a lamp with it that's touch sensitive and it makes applying them so much better I stopped acrylic and just use the system I struggled with the cost of gel X in the UK inails isn't cheap ether bit it's the best thing I've ever done and it's easy to get in UK these look lovely by the way XX
