Hello, I just found your channel and subscribed. My wife and I are retired. We have a Class A diesel pusher. We enjoy part timing. We are all electric with a residential refrigerator. Being from Florida we have to run our generator for the roof top air conditioners and the refrigerator. The generator and engine share the same fuel tank. Just in case I am not paying attention, this has happened three times, there is a built-in safety. When the fuel tank gets down to a quarter of a tank the generator will automatically turn off. This is a fabulous reminder to stop at the next fuel station. Of course with the car hooked up in tow we are 62' long and 12'6" tall so we use the fuel island at truck stops. For just overnighting we have both Sam's Club and BJ'S Wholesale Club memberships. Both have been fabulous about letting us stay the night for free in their parking lots. And yes! Our kitty travels with us too. 🤗

Thank you so much! I don't have a generator, but am seriously considering one, mostly for the summer months when it's hot. In the winter, I can run the furnace off the battery with propane and do just fine, but hot is a different story as you said lol I have not overnighted in either of those, but a lot of folks do and love the convenience. I am working on a video about RVing with cats, so if you have input, I would be elated to add those with full credit to your channel. I absolutely love the RV community and have nothing bad to say about my experiences. Are you all subscribers to Harvest Hosts by chance?

Yes we are Harvest Host members. We have tried using it three times, but have never had any success. Each time the Host never got back to us in time and we have had to make other arrangements. Our Kitty doesn't like travel days, but once we are parked for the night she is happy again. If we feed her wet food on the morning of a travel day she will throw up. She gets dry food. Once we park at night she can have wet food again. In the South both the days and nights are in the 90's. Having a generator for the air conditioning is a must. We use a Garmin RV GPS. We load in what kind of RV we have, length, height and weight. It makes sure we don't go down roads we shouldn't. Have you ever heard of a book called The Next Exit? If so do you use it?

I caught a glimpse of my home town attraction, the underground salt. I hope you had a chance to see this attraction in person. I've even ridden my mountain bike down there. Pretty cool. Also, enjoyed your video.
