A man who was wanted for stealing a box truck vehicle is in custody after crashing into several patrol vehicles in Gainesville. FULL STORY: www.news4jax.c... Video: Alachua County Sheriff's Office.
Pretty poor performance by that multi-task force of patrol cars in persuit, finally got to witness a bunch of cops patrol cars smashed up fo a change, shows that cops are vulnerable to totally destroying county property!
@@samlucchese8928 obviously there has to be some damage left over such a dangerous chase, do you expect a large vehicle going high rates of speed oncoming during a pursuit is gonna result in something not being damaged? plus with so many officers, its impressive how well they can communicate information quickly and understand it
That SOB doesn't deserve to see another day! You better believe he will do this AGAIN and AGAIN until he meets his maker and THEN justice will be served!
It means a lot that the perps not mad at the police after he went tearing through town endangering lives smashing police and civilians vehicles alike . I just bet those officers were really glad he wasn't mad at them 😵💫
@@natewilliams1505 Nate, I mean that the dude wasn’t fighting the police and admitted that they were just doing their job and that he was wrong. The term “to cool one’s heels” Is to wait a very long time, referring to the jail sentence that he will likely get for leading the police on an insanely dangerous chase through Gainesville, Florida, wrecking innocent motorists vehicles and endangering the public. Capeesh ?
That guy should remain in jail until all the damage he caused is paid for. If no one steps in to pay for his damage, he should rot in jail. Society doesn't need people like that.
The police pushed the box truck into 97 percent of the cars , as well as put everyone of those people on the road n the line of fire deeply in danger as much as if not more than red shirt box truck driver did. I don't know how it all started but everyone involved in this is more than lucky not to be dealing with several lives lost . Why so many police have to push the tempo up in a situation that they train and practice for. Stupid and careless on both sides. And definitely not a good job done unless the job was to gamble with other people's lives. Remember Nassau county doesn't allow high stakes gambling.
@@jam2sleezy172 I agree, the police chase these guys and cause the situations to escalate. However, my point is, the guys being chased are processed through the courts and sentenced to jail for the laws they broke, but they get off scott free on the damage they've done. There should be some kind of financial accountability, instead of the costs passed onto insurance companies and individuals.
I don’t know who is the editor, you deserve an Oscar. The dogs face looking at the suspect is everything 😂 he is telling his handler, move away you co’k blocker 🤣🤣🤣🤣
They should have to carry donated cadaver limbs for the dog so he at least gets a chomp. I would donate mine for the cause if it improved eagerness and bite grip.
@Randysfiftysevenchevy you know he is with these no bail reforms by the Democrats. The guy should go to prison for a very long time or disappear because he's a menace to society. He has no regard for human life and the lives of others. And I like how he said, "I'm not even mad at all y'all," like they did something wrong and not him.
guys I lost 2 friends over a police high-speed chase over a car??? they could have called of that chase a long time ago that guy would or those cops could have killed someone over WHAT A BOXCAR??? CMON NOW those shitbags of cops knew he was a black man they had to prove a goddam point
Fr like what are these dudes on? That's a big heavy slow vehicle good for ramming and surviving both you and the vehicle but good god you ain't getting away lmao
Was it completely his skills or the engineering of that truck? I would have thought as the police were waiting for an opportunity to employ the pit maneuver, they would have tried as he was making one of his turns.
8:18 "I ain't blame the police. They're just protecting the people. I ain't even mad at yall 'cause yall did your jobs" Well that was an unexpected statement coming from the suspect.
My late mother used to say that God takes care of fools and babies. When he was hit by the police cruiser, I was expecting him to be unable to stand or walk under his own power. Well lo and behold he was standing and walking under his own power. Unfreaking believable!
Yup it is very dangerous. That's why they need to put that guy away for the next 40 years with no possibility of parole. But you know the stupid a** courts with let him off easy and he'll be back on the streets carjacking again within a month or less.
Eleanor Young: Exactly, that's why I would love to see him getting charged with attempted homicide, for each and everyone that he came in contact with, during this chase. If he has priors. Double up the sentence. Animals like that belong away from society.
His logic; “Since I’m already getting a felony charge for the initial crime of car jacking, let’s see how many other felonies I can add to that count. They’ll remember me in these streets”.
Got away a lot longer than I expected. Carjackings have almost become a spectator sport in America because the people doing it, effectively a protected class, know there won't be any repercussions. Go to jail, back on the street in 3 hours with no bail. Progressive DA's simply won't prosecute POC.
My heart was in my throat throughout the entire chase! So many lives he could've killed. Thank God the police got him. Who needs to go to the movies when you have the real thing to watch on RU-vid?
gosh it's almost like all those people wouldn't be in peril if the cops had just decided not to chase this person over the theft of a box truck. not to mention all of the unneeded damage to citizen's personal property and the police's disregard for taxpayer money as they smash their cars into said box truck.
@@pizfunkkillah Yeah let's just allow assholes to steal from people any time they want to because there are edgy little girls that think it's okay. But if he took your vibrator you would whine that the cops let him get away.
I'm really upset with the k9 cop. Holding the puppy away from a delicious meal like that. That was totally animal cruelty. He should be arrested for that.
I admire how fast they are reacting. One has to remember the other police have not been seeing what is happening but they come to the situation quite blind and have to react to it in seconds.
Put so many innocent peoples lives in danger. Life in prison without the possibility of parole. If not he’ll be released eventually and do something worse.
@@odst2247 true, and give him your address to go visit you and make his rehab complete. Good idea. I always said, you didn’t invent the automobile but you made it better.
Thank God for our heroes that put their lives on the line to protect us from these irresponsible individuals. God bless ALL of you who keep our streets and neighborhoods safe.
@@eleanoryoung121 i agree on endagaring many many lives of poeple but atleast he actually isnt like all those other ones tho im shocked on how he didnt hit almost any cars well he did hit 1 but on the back a bit
Considering all of the car swipes, wrong ways and pit maneuvers (and they were crazy), I would say great job to include the carjacker. He avoided a lot of serious wrecks considering the chase and was a good sport about it at the end considering he grew wings after the trooper hit him. Neither one saw that one coming, that's for sure. It's a miracle no one is dead.🙏 Thank God!
Absolutely... but I certainly hope that he got charged with attempted homicide for each and everyone vehicle that he came in contact with.... THESE types of criminals should not be out in public for a long long time.
Man's jumps out of the moving vehicle, rolls, takes off running, bounces off a police truck going head first into another all while doing crazy karate moves and then gives the police their flowers? I'll be damned. I wasn't expecting that lol.
That's funny...lol. All that crazy driving and not a single wreck until the Sheriff tried a pit and ran the truck into a remotely parked...that very one parked to avoid door dings...rotfl!
Some people might be upset at you for saying that but it’s true, guy was driving pretty damn good considering the circumstances. I feel as if many of the cops pit maneuvers were poorly done, not understanding the physics of how to stop the truck, causing the chase to go on longer than it needed too. Granted I have never done a pit maneuver and am not a cop, but still
@@elessartelcontar9415 He was not doing 90mph ( that damm truyck probably can't even do 70 ) It ( box truck ) surely is not 20ton or even close to 20tons. My own box truck is way bigger and it's barely 13.5 tons when fully loaded. BTW,The max called speeds during the chase seems to be 60mph. Yes it very dangerous for all involved. Stop making silly comments or over exaggerating the incident.
I applaud the police for the fantastic job they do in stopping & apprehending these dangerous THUGS. Hope the judge puts away this crim for at least 20 years; citizens do not want the likes of him on their roads.
@@highlander31527 Alachua County is not the majority of FL, though. Gainesville is home to UF, and therefore a liberal bastion of academia (read: hellhole).
The suspect is very lucky , because it was getting close to the point the police will use lethal force to protect alot of people that were already in life threatening danger.
Indeed. It's a heavy truck. Not easy to stop if the driver is smart. You can see how easily the truck ripped off the front of a patrol car like butter. Then almost ripped a truck police cars front as well but luckily for him it only edged him with he rear bumper. (The box prevents damage to his wheels. And overall the front is the only part that can take the most damage. Anywhere else would only scratch it and wreck your car.
They stand in front of parked cars yelling stop, stop!! Then they assassinate the driver then say their life was in danger. What a joke. Murder people with no consequences. Judgement Day is when they will get served justice.
"I ain't even mad at y'all..." That's very nice and considerate of him. I highly doubt all the people in that city he affected during his little stunt, are gonna be as gracious and feel the same towards him... Awesome job with the vid/editing tho!!
The "driver" went past 2 school buses, once going the wrong way in traffic. Based on that, charge this dolt with 2 counts attempted negligent homicide. That is not even counting the hundreds of other lives he endangered and endangered cops. He should never be free again.
"ran him over"? I missed that. I did, however, see the officer (who really does care) bop the knucklehead with his patrol car (equipment) as he's trained to do so in certain circumstances. This is how rumors of B.S. spread. X-LEO
Beauty and a Beast. Law enforcement officers are the beauty and Beast in that truck. How many lives did he endangered? It’s impossible to even do a pit, you need Hellcat or grappler. Thanks God all the police officers are ok. Perpetrator needs long time in jail. So much respect to all man and women in blue and all first responders.
Exactly . He could have killed and seriously injured SO MANY people along the way .The ones who say “well he didn’t “ are idiots as if that somehow makes it OK. Any one of us could have been victims of his had we been there at those moments.
Well I believe the police should not Chase unless wanted for murder because the truth of the matter it's not just the suspect it's also the police innocent people in danger by chasing especially when it's for stolen vehicle or infractions that's why here in California most major cities have serious policy unless wanted for murder
The mayhem, destruction to vehicles and property, driving on the wrong side of the road endangering countless lives. God damn! Judge and DA should throw the book at him during sentencing.
Love how the smallest Deputy in the SD 7:26 looks like he casually steps out like he's going to shake the perps hand 😂...obviously It's a joke but damn that was smooth!
I agree. It's as if those cops wanted to see this criminal psycho run head on into another vehicle...or school bus...and kill innocent people. Even the way they sped through that parking lot showed a lack of concern for innocent bystanders walking to their cars. But I'd expect nothing else from Florida. Sigh.
Amazon or UPS needs a guy like this to deliver packages when he gets out of prison! He will deliver your packages no matter what and same day delivery.
4:43 What happens after that if someone's parked vehicle is damaged in a chase? Do they just come out and have no idea what happened or does a cop like stay behind and inform them?
@@evkathleen Usually your insurance pays for any damages caused, and the suspect who was involved in the chase would also be held liable for further damages in a lawsuit. Police departments are usually not held liable unless they were extremely reckless and is dependent on whether or not that recklessness was justified in their pursuit
