This week I am playing with simple little flowers and warm weather elements.
This was such a fun little painting, and perfect for summer cards and invitations.
I think this would be an adorable pattern for linens, and such too!

I tend to paint food im eating, flowers in my garden and whatever I come across in the moment! lol Have fun with these you could also use a splash of glitter, shimmer and shine with those metallics!

Perfect! I wouldn't necessarily use it for anything you might keep or gift, but its great for swatching, practicing brushstrokes, and messing around. Maybe that's where I picked it up. Have fun!

So cute. Can I ask a more personal question --how and when does everyone fit painting into their day? By the time I walk dog get workout in either surf or at gym or hike then do groceries food prep etc -you know life stuff -then things need to do around house and garden try have bit social time my weeks just fly by and I have maybe had a couple 2 at best hours to paint. I am curious where in day and how people fit painting in. Btw I am pretty much retired , so not like I am trying to work too. Please be clear I am not complaining I am just curious. Kind of like when people share their studio space set up. I need calendar space set up shares. Thank you ❤

Hi great question, I work two jobs, have five grandchildren, work out every single day, Yoga practice every evening, and take care of all house things, its amazing how our days fill up right? I would completely lose all control, and get nothing done, and not enjoy my days! if I didnt schedule my time, prioritize and stick to it. Oh, I cant wait to be able to retire, i'm in my 60's. At least from my day job and ft be able to teach and paint, create. Definitely time management techniques, prioritizing what's important for me personally, is a must for me and keeps me on track . :-) You can email me and I can share some tips (its what I have taught to my clients, in my career for decades its second nature for me now) Happy "retirement", friend!
