Furiosa Update #3 - MAX'S CAMEO IN THE FILM? Motorbike chariot and a Mystery Van?

Seeing the Interceptor again and not destroying it would be very refreshing to see, just leave the bloody car alone.

Watched Furiosa this weekend, and yes I can confirm that Max is seen from behind next to his car for a very quick "blink and you'll miss it" moment. Very cool! Another excellent movie from Mr Miller

Im replaying the Mad Max game rn and I was wondering maybe you could talk about locations in Mad Max lore and pinpoint them to a real life location? Like Gastown or Bullet Farm or even the big Bridge and Statue seen in the game. Love your videos btw! So glad to see you and Max are BACK!!!

Furiosa seems to be shaping up nicely. It'd be cool to see if you could dig around and see if there's any plans for a new Mad Max game. I loved the 2015 one and it's been a long time to wait for a sequel.

"1:48" I'm SO HAPPY that the iconic Interceptor it's going to appear in Furiosa. But I would a lot happier to see the "M.F.P, Vehicles Yellow, Red, White, and Blue from Mad Max, 1979". I would like to know what happen to those cars. Either a bad guy's car, a scavenger's car or stripped for parts? "2:55" this massive gate might belong to the Bullet Farm because it's built next to a bunch rocks. If the gate was in Gastown, it should be surrounded with pipes and pumps, not to mention piles of wreck cars. "7:11" The Tanker Truck and Trailer of oil drum actually belongs to "Gastown" because that place pumps oil and other fuel and it require Tanker vehicles like The People Eater's Limo. I know it has Immortan joe's Logo (7:52) but vehicles from Gastown or Bullet Farm has it as well, because the Citadel it's the "Lead Territory". "8:08" The Maple Leaf Tow Truck kind of reminds me a Tow Truck similar to that from a 2003 Cannibal horror movie called: "Wrong Turn". Story about 3 Cannibals leaving in the woods, hunting and killing people to eat them and own a "1948 Dodge B-Series Tow Truck".

Awesome video as always! I feel fairly confident in saying that the motorcycle chariot is real. It is just so incredibly fitting for this franchise, and the idea of it even started in Australia! And with a "Motorcycle Chariot" appearing in the video game, it seems like Miller had the idea for it way back when he had first written the script, so that checks out. Oh, and I have an idea for that mystery van. I imagine that it's a sort of ferry, packing a ton of people into it at once to transport them across the wastes. Y'know, like a bus. That's not exciting on its own, but looking at the vehicle which Max drives to Gastown at the start of the comics gave me an idea - what if we'll be able to spot Max in it? I know it's a biiig stretch, but it would definitely fill the role of a "special" part in the movie. Just an idea. That conflicts with how we know that Max will have his Interceptor, though, and that's not to mention how Max really doesn't like being with other people if he can avoid it.

Keep in mind, that in the game and in the comics. Max had to deal with Scrotious. So basically it is possible this might explain why they chase Max at the beginning of Fury Road.

They said somebody that worked on the film said he's in it but it's a blink and you'll miss it cameo so it'll probably be like an Easter egg. Someone will have to find out by watching the movie slowly. I hope Miller makes one more and just completes the mad Max journey because you know they're going to reboot it

Oh man I drove those R series Mack’s in the army and they are slow when a trailers attached but I’m really hoping it’s involved in a action scene. And yeah that looks like two combi’s joined together

Born in kurnell ,watched them put this plane together and filming of movie,sat up on the dunes right side of clip , when finished they left it there and we would drink around a small bonefire at night next to it ,great memories

I'll admit that at first, i wasn't thrilled about a Furiosa prequel, but watching things come together, the BoB making an appearance, i am now very excited. The only thing I wish they do is give a hint to Roop and Charlie, since they got like 2 panels in the Joe comic and I am pretty sure thats how the gigahorse has an MFP badge on the dash

I worked with the mad max 1 art director on a bcf ad. Half my cost of supplying my car for film was i want filming stories. Old jon dowding did not dissapoint. This movie looks like it will be interesting. I wish they would call me for this movie lol.

I’m sick of the interceptor being destroyed all the time😂. All I want is a movie with Max and his interceptor just scavenging.

Ben smith-Peterson was a few characters in Fury Road, like many stuntmen on it, they were kinda interchangeable. I worked with him once rigging a music festival in 2015, there was mention of him riding the Ripsaw Charger as well in a few scenes as well as standing in for the action for Doof Warrior. There might have been more parts he did, I can't remember exactly and he was understandably vague about his information (He was surprised I knew about the Ripsaw at that point)

So cool to have watched the New movie and come back to watch the predictions. Can't wait to see analysis on the New movie!

My wife was in mad mad beyond thunder dome in the parts filmed at Kurnell she was 12 at the time although I think its fantastic we have known each other since primary school and also lived in the same suburb in Sutherland Shire

I attended the premiere for Thor last night and spoke to David Collins about Furiosa. He showed me a very interesting image from the set that reveals his role in the film, but I have been sworn to not say a word of what I saw., osrry But I can tell you it will be a major role and he has enjoyed learning to ride a bike. Also I would expect to see Goran D. Kleut in the film as he did mention he is working with Chris on a project at the moment, but he would not elaborate to what it was when I caught up with him aswell.

This film is going to ROCK so hard, some of my friends were extras on the Fury Road set, a lot of them being hired out of Cape Town ( my home ) I just missed the call for that one but did end up working on Black Sails a hell of a lot. Lost count of the amount of times I was covered in fake blood and dumped against a wall somewhere to be a dead pirate. Heh good times. Cool channel by the way, just came across it now.

Personally, In regards to the Interceptor, I feel they filmed some part of the next film, Wasteland since the set was already I built so why not take advantage of it.

5:04 I could be wrong but the extended swinging arm on that bike, looks similar to those on extreme hill clime bikes. It keeps the weight forward so the bikes don't flip going up steep inclines.

As far as I can tell Kurnell is across the Botany Bay harbour from Sydney airport not remote but a refinery, desalination plant and national park aswell as beaches in Sydney metropolitan area. Bartertown was apparently the old brick pit of Sydney at Homebush where V8 supercars run.

Be cool if the combi-van/yellow-bus thing is the gate-bus from Road Warrior, with the Feral Kid leading The Great Northern Tribe. At 8:39 it kinda looks like the rear end of the Commer Avenger bus, but cut away at the front and hooked on a cab-over truck, like a trailer. Or maybe the whole bus, but driving alongside/behind the truck

Most likely a post credit scene, where max shows up at the bullet farm seeing the remains with his new rebuilt interceptor after fury road. Theory on that is: it picks up right after the events of furry road max didn’t leave everyone just yet he went to get his car and and had it fixed then left.

There was a motorcycle chariot at 1 of the Wasteland Weekend events and a buddy of mine had a friend that has motorcycle chariot with a single motorcycle that he was trying to part out..... Very interesting to see if that's actually gonna be an element in the new movie.

It's a pity we didn't see the interceptor in fury road as much as we wish. Only the chase and after they transformed it into a war boy car in which case it got destroyed....

Would love to see a video on Thunderdome, behind the scenes and in depth look at that doesn't seem to be many around documentary wise not even on the dvds. thanks

Hey Bible, is it safe to say that, since George himself wrote those Mad Max comics from a few years ago, that those are still canon? It’s fascinating how many stories George managed to squeeze out of writing Fury Road.

A cameo when being the character the whole franchise is based on, unless this is a spin-off type prequel film. Nevertheless, since it’s visionary genius George Miller behind the wheels there’s really no limit how fantastic this could turn out to be. Vehicles seen so far look awesome. Hopefully we’ll see some equally awesome vehicle scenes in motion as well.
