This is a Must Watch video if you are using Fusion 360! If this video helped you and you would like to show some appreciation, www.buymeacoffee.com/paramtrx Thx!
Ive come to a simular conclusion after struggling to maintain a clean timeline in order to make changes in complex designs. I like the nameing convention you use and I wish I saw this video earlier.
I've been a Fusion 360 user from the start. This is the best explanation of what is really needed. Been doing it wrong all these years, getting lost modifying parts in assemblies. Much better than the 'experts' method. Thank you.
Thanks for the fresh rethinking of the Fusion basics and also illustrating a good organizational habit to make "New Component" before starting on a part. 👍
Fantastic tutorial, thanks very much. How the hell they came up with the word component, just blows me away. You've saved me a lot of confusion and frustration.
Thank you for the explanation. I have been frustrated with the "made up" and confusing language by the creators of this software. After using CAD for some 35 years, I am of the opinion that some Autodesk manager went to his subordinates and told them to reinvent the wheel. They have made things far more complicated with names and icons.
Great Tutorial thanks, I'm only new to Fusion 360 but I'm glad I found this before I developed too many bad habits. This gives the design a great structure.
Thx James, keep in mind you don't need to name the part inside the part folder, the only time you need to name the part inside the folder is if you are using Mastercam. Mastercam picks up the name of the part, not the part folder. Watch this video to see how I do it.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mHhmoulky6Q.html
