Wow another FX61 flyer! I went the other way motorise. Sunnysky 2216 swinging a 8x6 prop. If you haven't already, shave the foam lip around the motor mount. It blocks alot of air hitting the prop. Your prop being super close to the foam will create some vibrations along with the loud buzzing noise too. Awesome location to fly too.
@@stonesrcchannel I haven't really gave it a proper test. I was using a 4,000mah 3S pack. But it felt a little underpowered. Put a 50a ESC in and now run 4S2P Li-on packs or 5,200mah lipo. Much better performance. I picked up an AR Pro kit and a Nano Goblin that are much better platforms, my poor old FX61 has been a bit neglected.
I can imagine the 79 would be more difficult to hand launch but I would have thought it to be as good if not a better flying craft than the 61 interesting.
Thanks Robert yeah I prefer the cruisers flights. Biggest pain is not being able to video any long range flights because of the laws regarding bvlos and people I know that have been fined due to videos online they have done breaking drone laws in Australia. Really sux.
