I've got a question probably only you can answer. I recently ordered a slug power kit that came with the hammer weight, recessed shuttle and adjustable pin probe. I put the pin probe in and adjusted the pin so I could just get the magazine in as to give myself the deepest seat, but, when I tried to close the bolt, the shoulder, or where the probe steps up in size from the caliber diameter, hits the magazine way early so you can't close the bolt, I'd say by about 2mm at least. Does this sound like it was a kit for a Maveric or is there a difference in probes in the MK1 and Mk2 crown?
There is no difference in the mk1 mk2 probes as far as i know, it doesn't sound right that it bottoms out so soon so there may be a mix up with the parts
@@sub12airgunners After I posted this question, I looked at the probes for the maverick and they are clearly way different. I don't get it because the probe can't be installed incorrectly it just has one mounting pin. I turned the shoulder, or step down and it works perfectly now but I don't see anything about anyone else having this issue. I see a lot of people, myself included, having problems with the Huma probe because the pin is longer than the magazine rotary wheel depth so the mag cycles on you before the probe shoulder get into it essentially guillotining your probe from entry. Shortening the pin would solve it but then you lose your seating depth.
