FX wildcat mag index tuning

On this video just remove the sharp edge, if you remove to much the lever will not rotate the mag, and don’t try bending the lever to get more contact-it will brake-cast steel not meant to flex and set to a new angle unless heated red hot.

Thanks what a great video, I have just done what u suggested and it is a lot smoother, one thing tho you will need a diamond file that bit of metal it very hard. Great vid 10/10

I'm having a problem, sometimes when I pull the lever the magazine will rotate but will not do the rotation as it should, the pellet probe will not align with the hole on the mag. It might be my fault for not pulling all the way back

Ernest, would you repair my huntsman classic, the hammer strikes but the gun won't fire it seems like there's no air moving through the gun and I can't get in to the bolt action. I don't have the know how. :-(

Thanks for sharing that great info... my loading wheel is scratched to hell. To do what you say, does the riffle need to be completely low on air as you do not show it completely stripped down from start.

+Esting Rowe I mean from the very first time you start to strip parts out of the gun buddy, does it need to be empty of air. Think I have sorted mine now though. With not getting a reply I did not want to strip it so just removed magazine and could seen the sharp tip of index bar so just got a small file in and gently feathered over it to take sharp edge off and its now indexing magazine great and not scratching it apart from normal metal to metal contact marks.

Thanks for that and have fixed mine now and works a lot better cycling the magazine and is great to shoot. On outside range I was putting pellet ontop of pellet at 40 yards with odd one a bit out.

Stuff like this just shows, how stupid at the end of the day, the engineers are at FX are. Anyone using the gun should have noticed this right away and they should have adjustments. But guess what?! They did not. How dumb...
