G Body LS Swap - Headliner and interior install 

Enjoyed the video, I'm working on 1980 Malibu you guys inspired me to do my own interior grate job

just a small heads up if you ever do another headliner. having all the moldings in is like a 3rd hand. I mean yes the passenger door molding as well as the rear molding should be out. But the first thing I did on the million plus I've done bitd from 1987-2006 was get the dome light passed through as you did. But I used a magnetic tip power drill. place the 2 hanger hooks in the back. If you aren't 100% on how GM visors sat get an ice pick. once you have the 1st 2 holes the 3rd one just lines up. But once you have the hangers and sun visors in it is set in place to do all the other moldings. Also there are many 90's sun visors that have sewless seams. So all you need is fabric and a puddy knife and flat head to wrap the fabric around then tuck it into the channel until it is just tight enough. I went to the wrecking yard and found some 70's tan visors from a Camaro or some plastic sewed in kind from the days they had wire & hook vinyl suspended headliners. I'm sure a headliner last longer in Canada but near the humid south they will last about 15 years and the foam dry rots and falls. I've been fortunate as I changed my headliner in my s-10 w/LS1 around 2000-ish and its been parked under my house so it hasn't been exposed to direct sun and heat for over 15 years.
