Dance film-directing veteran Jon Chu takes a crack at G.I. Joe in this sequel to Stephen Sommers' blockbuster 2009 film. Even better proof than this clip - Re-Read the old Marvel comics when the two stormed Cobra Island to try and kill Zartan. Vipers, Crimson Guardsmen, and standard Cobra Troopers fell is unit level strength.

I love that moment at 2:00 when storm shadow and Snake eyes stop facing each other, swords raised, and pause, as if having to remind themselves that they're not supposed to try an kill each other right now, before resuming slaughtering everything in the room.

They were never truly enemies at heart, but more rivals constantly trying to one-up each other. If one of them died, they wouldn't have a purpose anymore (which was with Snake Eyes at the beginning of the film not being with the Joes, at least until he learned Storm Shadow was still alive and causing trouble).

I don't follow gi joe shows or comics whatever the source is from, but from what I know of him in this movie and its prequel, is that he doesn't speak and doesn't show his face, but I wish they could at least let him break his rule for once and have the actor for snake eyes show his face onscreen, like give him some credit, he played snake eyes really well. His name is Ray Park.

Late in the comics Cobra betrayed Storm Shadow and Storm Shadow joined GI Joe. In another continuation (and I think this was the one that was canon) Storm Shadow was a mole who was spying for the Joes
