Most underrated guitars and basses out there. Hands down. So many bought and then sold shortly thereafter because people didn't take the time to get to know the pickups and electronics. Sad

Not in a million years would I sell my L-1500 Bass, that introduced me to G&L. I got it like a jackpot in a swap for an ultra light weight Yamaha that I owned. The guy had back problems so he gave me the G&L. I've just bought an Espada (the first version with the p-bass style mini split coils). Waiting for delivery and I've never been as excited for an instrument. I've been watching and reading everything about g&l these last couple of weeks, and can't wrap my head around how fantastic this company is. Just the vibe in this production facility. How can they compete with Fender-prices as a rather small manufacturer? It's insane. Their guitars look and sound better than most big brands. The Espada will be my favorite guitar ever, I know it, and I've owned a lot. Nice to know now it's also been plek'ed in this very machine in this video. I'm still looking for the ideal Doheny, that would complete my dream gear then 😍

Indeed I do. 2 x USA made Jerry Cantrell signatures and USA made Comanche. Necks on those are fantastic and fretwork is outstanding. Definitely I will be getting another G&L in the near future :)

Brazilian RW or Cherry? I'm sure that was a mistake. Looks like cherry, but others say Caribbean RW. Both are very dense, heavy woods that will work just fine for fretboards. Great tour, thx!

I have 3 gibsons,1 fender ,a prs,a taylor and a yamaha now its time for a nice high quality GnL...Love these guitars and have no dealers in my area or I would have one...Guess its time for a road trip..

Just don't panic, it's not instant glue or anything like that, it's wood glue, which dries slowly and is water-dilutable, they just washed it off easily right after the shot. Also remember this is BEFORE dialing in the radius (the sequence just before that in the video). 😉 But yeah it looks 😬😬😬 for a second 😅

Five minutes later, the monotonous, vociferous commentator was itching in my head, and the sounds at the factory were left somewhere behind, so the video is excellent, but I would work with the sound before uploading it to the public.

"Chechen, Also known as Brazilian Rosewood" ..wrong. Am i the only one that noticed that? lol. I believe he meant to say Carribean rosewood

no...he was right: "Chechen is also known as Black poisonwood or Caribbean rosewood. It is not a true Rosewood, but can have a similar two-toned grain pattern and high polish that is very much like a true Dalbergia Rosewood. This species is used for furniture, cabinets, Jewelry boxes, and humidors as well as many other creative projects."
