So I bought it, and you know what? I am cured of the crazy watch virus ! I am not bothered about my 40+ watch collection anymore. I am not binge watching RU-vid watch channels anymore. I am completely clean. Now I am looking back at this period in embarrassment. How could I be so stupid with hindsight? It's like buying your first CD player with a couple of CD's. What happened to your LP collection? What happened to your super dooper turn table ? What happened to your VHS recorder after you discovered digital video recording ? Thank you very much Marc, I am free again. It will save me a lot of money.

In military you are often not allowed to use or don't have a phone with you. A casio alarm is a great way to wake up a minute before the drills start shouting your head off.

I bought the G-Shock MTG-B1000D-1AJF and it’s pretty awesome. Does much more than any Rolex for a fraction of the price and looks great too!

Bought one with metal bracelet. The bracelet looks great and feels great. New for me was that the links are all connected by spring bars...! Never seen anything like it. No pins, no collars, no screws, no, just push bars,....Hallelujah.... finally some decent adjustment, easy. Love it.

I'm old school. I never use timer or alarm on my cell phone. When there isn't a lockdown, I use an ACTUAL ALARM CLOCK for the morning alarm, lol. But when traveling I always use the watch alarm. I use countdown timer on my watch daily for either when cooking or taking nap (15 min power naps). Thx for your review.

Just bought one of these in the black finish. I love it. The phone finder is a real game changer for me as the Mrs is always going on about the text message beep I get. So when it's on silent I forget where the phone is. Really happy with the watch.

I love this watch, I got the steel bracelet model. I liked it so much that I wanted the black bezel one as well. I like it much more than the 300 because I don’t like the flat tire look on the bezel.

this watch is totally incredible, i would say...G-SHOCKS are great watch to have...being tough, durable and solar powered..makes it a great watch. blue tooth accessibility which makes time always in the right time zones. i forgot they are also water resistant 200 meters. can be for swimming too.

this exactly gshock gst b200 is perfectly and can make it perfect on every thing . Even the perfect second hand also we can adjust it just using the app + have automatic clock syncronizing every hour to make our exact hour perfectly 👍👍👍

You're definately not crazy. I love my two gshocks. I have a few beautiful dress watches that I only wear on special occasions and have some nice divers from Seiko and yema but it's the gshocks I love the most. When you consider how much detail and work goes into one of these they are an amazing buy.

I've thought about picking one of these up. I have the steel square on silicone strap that I use as a beater but (like you mentioned) I feel like I would connect more with an analog display.

Very cool. I agree with your assessment of Rolex as it now being a luxury watch brand. If I were kayaking or hiking, I would be wearing this G Shock. Not a Rolex. Dang it, I want one now. Thanks for the video!

This sold it for me, actually because of the timer, countdown, and alarms (and the fact that I can set them on the watch, away from my phone without having to spin a bezel) but still a great review!

CasioOak is a great tool watch that one doesn’t cry about dings or scratches. Tudor North Flag is a decent weekend watch to do basic chores with and then watch the kids games with after.

I absolutely love my G-Shock, but I went up the stack from Rolex, not down. I just picked up my new Patek Philippe Nautilus. I absolutely love it! As for Rolex, you know I have too many. I always have one or two Rolexes that I will even climb a rocky wall with, if necessary. I actually did just that on vacation recently. It's always nice to have a Rolex that's your constant buddy no matter the situation...one you do not worry about at all.

this is a GOOD WATCH to have...i have one of that and solar charging at its best...usually i charge it under the sun..like once every 3 months or 4 months at the most...!!! this is also the same for the Gravity Master-GR-B100 totally the same features..settings all are same....including the design.

I have the GTSB-100 version. This one is cool because of the analog feature, but the hour hand would bug me at 11,12 and 1 because it would block the time. Wish it (analog box) was set a bit higher but other than that, it's a great watch and a great look. Love the G-Steel series. 👍👍

@@sriseth2480 Well, the bluetooth on mine (blame the app) is sometimes problematic. I've resorted to not turn on the bluetooth on my phone because of it. I've heard many complain about the app being broken. If you choose either one, have in mind if you get it for bluetooth,it (connection) may be hit or miss.I picked mine on looks. Liked the huge glass look. Now this one has a analog window. Looks nice but I always had an eye on the one I have. Both look great. Just depends was your eye catches. Once that happens, you'll know.

@@sriseth2480 The bluetooth just doesn't sync well with my Note phone even my sister's iPhone. The app isn't updated for the neccessary fix. It sometimes gets updated but not the major fix it needs.

So 4 times per day time update via the Casio server that is connected to atomic time....nice. So you buy effectively an atomic clock watch for 300 dollar. Wow. I will check this after I bought the watch to see how accurate this will be in real life...

I own a lot more expensive MT-G but the LCD display really does it for me and seems more useful. I might be getting one of these ... currently tending to the black case or the one with the steel bracelet....

How does the MT-G wear for you? I've been eyeing an MT-G or even an MR-G but they seem much too large (haven't tried one on yet). My beater now is a steel square G shock on silicone and I believe its 43mm but wears very well.

@@mcstarling07 My MT-G (1000B) wears great. I have a 7" wrist and just placrf a G-Shock square next to the MT-G. The size is comparable. My MT-G has a bracelet which I like more than the original strap of the 5600.

You can’t adjust anything at night unless you use the phone app itself. You only get 3 seconds of light per press of the light button and if you press a different button trying to set an alarm, timer etc the light turns off even before the 3 second timer. Not suitable for any night ops.

You should not compare a Rolex with a gst b200. It like compare a T Ford wit a rimac nivera. Or a steam boat with a nucleair powered vessel.

I have GSTB400, thats solar powered and has smaller size. Casio makes some best in class watches, better than those ugly expensive watches with no functionality at all as compared to Casio's.
