Kimimaro has all those lines about how he'll live on forever in Orochimaru and how Lord Orochimaru loves him, and yet the very next thing we see after his death is Orochimaru going "oh well, we have more in the basement". Gaara was right, and I love how his reaction to Kimimaro and his discussion with Lee afterwards show how he's beginning to understand people thanks to Naruto.

Grooming children to become child soldiers is quite literally Orochimaru's standard operating procedure. It gets lost a little with the fact that most major powers utilize traumatized child soldiers so heavily, but Orochimaru takes it to a whole other level.

Gaara vs Naruto is my favorite fight in OG. It is so good seeing him again and seeing you take an interest in his story. Regarding something you mentioned on Twitch that in the past Gaara never avoided pointless battles but that is not exactly true he ignored several people who he thought were not worth his time such as when he litterally walked past Naruto who was frozen in fear. He even had crazy ramblings appologizing for making someone eat bad tasting blood and insisting Saske's blood would taste good. Throughout the Chunin Exams Gaara was talking about defeating someone strong (Saske) and confirming he exists! He also said in the fight with Naruto (who cares about others) there was absolutely now way he was going to lose to a guy like HIM! It is hard to say anything more without spoiling but I just now realized in an amazing metaphor. Gaara kept saying killing strong people is what confirmed he existed. So losing the fight means the person he thought he was doesn't exist!

Before Gaara showed up I sort of understand him from the beginning and when the backstory of him made me tear up a lot, but from this moment I just love his voice and the way he protect it Lee and how calms he talks with that voice ufff so great 👌🏼 I love voices like that 😍

It makes you wonder what will have happened if Kaguya Kimimaro would have joined Momochi Zabuza and Yuki Haku instead of Orochimaru.

Ukon/Sakon were so damn creepy as hell,kinda desperated when he was inside the Kankuro trap screaming like crazy make me feel terrified

loved the finishers here, Kankuro using the Iron Maiden move was brutal, Temari just slicing through everything burying Tayuya under the trees, perfect :D Temari's summon, Kamatari, is a reference to Japanese yokai Kamaitachi, which is a weasel with razor sharp claws like scythes, said to ride on gusts of wind :) Gaara just cant stop being a badass, love him, he even expanded his arsenal :D Kimimaro's backstory was great, made it clear why he is following Orochimaru based on his upbringing and how he was then all alone and as per usual Orochimaru knew the perfect moment to strike :) plus we got to see Zabuza and Haku again that was unexpected but so satisfying :) Kimimaro was really significant to Orochimaru, we are kinda lucky he succumbed to illness, imagine if he stayed healthy :P poetic, he was there when Gaara's father died, now Gaara is there for his death, RIP Kimimaro :) loved the wise words from Gaara at the end too he has really matured :)

This fight is amazing to watch! Gaara must be so much stronger now that he is in better control of his actions and he learned many more sand jutsu. And next episodes is when Sasuke vs Naruto starts!

It’s insane that Kimimaro fought a nine tail chakra Naruto, drunken fist Lee and Gaara, while dying willing his body and they all barely survived. And the potential of Zabuza, Haku and Kimimaro is such a tragedy to not have seen.

the little banter between Shikamaru and Temari is the moment when I started shipping them. lol Especially when he brought up his mom calling back to an earlier conversation Shikamaru had with his father about his mother's less scary softer side. To my shipper brainrot it just felt like the writer was alluding to something. xD My top 3 ships in Naruto (not including shippuden) are Naruto x Hinata (I find their interactions adorable) Sakura x Ino (rivals into lovers is a trope I like) Shikamaru x Temari (sort of a mix between the two reasons above)

kimimaro was one of the most interesting characters - it's a shame he died so quickly but pretty epic

I dare say the intent behind these words is the core meaning of Naruto. Naruto is ultimately about empathy. It's like everyone has a sad backstory. That doesn't mean if you had a bad life it's ok to do bad things, but the understanding of how for some people it was easier to be bad. Some people didn't even consider being "good" an option. It's not just village vs village. It's deeper. Once you understand your enemy, you better understand yourself.

We got Kimimaro only briefly, but he left a huge impression on me. One of my favorite characters in Naruto. My main in Ultimate Ninja.

Watching Naruto again through these reactions feel surreal at times. Especially in how tamed the power scaling is compared to Shippuden and Boruto.

Then Kankuro finishes off the guy he and Kiba fought just like that, such a quick and brutal end. Awesome! Temari "How'd you like my deforestation no jutsu?" Shikimaru "I think my dad was right about women..." Personally I think Temari's theme is my second favourite after Guy's theme, it was playing right after Temari did her summoning jutsu and cut down so many trees. Sounds like Gaara has been working really hard on his character development since his brother and sister took him away from his fight with Naruto. It really needed a lot of work honestly, but he's getting there!

Hey flexie, just wanna say this.. Most of the ppl just call Orochimaru a pedophile but his evilness is not at all about pedophilia.. Hes basically a mad ninja scientist that wants to know more and more of what he can learn about life and what comes after life and everything about nature, For which he needs to live forever, so he manipulates particular people from particular clan that are strong enough live longer, like kaguya clan or uchiha clan, etc. According to him, Kimimaro is the most perfect vessel like EVER.. But unfortunately for him, hes ill with some disease i forgot what it is but its somewhat deadly.. So he completely shifts his goal towards an Uchiha Body having one of the most potential power ever (Sasuke Uchiha) This is why hes after Sasuke's Body.. not some sexual intentions like people try to argue (just dont let them change ur perspective) This is because Orochimaru is madly in love with Science like Thanos, thanos killed his society and many kids,elders,normal aged ppl many ppl accidentally wyile experimenting on them.. Thats Orochimaru (no pedophilia involved). Just wanted to give a headsup against the ppl who try to rub their POV intentions onto people

My least favorite character would have to be (not going into Shippuden and when I first watched) 5. Kiba, still don't really care for his character even now kinda wished they took the time they gave and gave it to shino 4. Tenten, this I'll admit shouldn't really be here but I don't like how hyped up her character was just to be tenten and her mad glazin Neji like say what you will but neither Ino nor Sakura were hyped up like that. 3. Ebisu he's so irrelevant but at the time when I watched it for the first time I really hated him lol 2. Sound 4, yes they all shared a spot and thought every single one of them were annoying so when kimimaru came I was thankful 1. Kabuto, not much to say I watched Naruto as a child my list has changed since then for the better for some and the worse for others.
