Speaking of Adam Crabb, he is definitely in his prime! He can hit some really high notes and his vocal range has increased overtime, especially after he joined the Gaither Vocal Band.
It is such a pleasure having someone do reactions to the Gaithers and know the people there. They actually do a vocal band reunion often. I actually just went to a taping of a Homecoming video which hasn't been done for about 30 years they said. I would love for you to react to These Are They; I cry; Give em away. Also anything from the Crabb Family and also some Booth Brothers
David Phelps is Equally Talented, in my opinion. I plan to research him as well as Wes, Mark, Guy and others. My type of a.d.d. will only alow me to research one at a time...lol
He is still a big star! And what range!! Wow! Think his voice probably changed a little. He’s the best of all of them, I think. So much talent, though, w so many! ☺️👍❤️
Mr. Darnell Crater, Joy Gardner “There’s A Promise Coming Down That Dusty Road”(Live from Jerusalem). With our toddler in a coma from hypoglycemia this song (and other songs) was a blessing. The doctors and nurses there in the E.R., they worked very hard for several hours trying to get our son’s blood sugar to go from 38 up higher, instead his blood sugar bottomed out to 29. Jesus was/is “that Promise”, HE was there with us all the whole time, over 6 hours.
I saw/heard some of "Live from Jerusalem". I will have to listen again. I'm so glad that you have had God in your life to help you cope with such a tragic time in your life. I don't know how people handle life with God in there lives. I pray that you son is alright now.
Love your reaction to Michael! I'd love for you to react to one of his performances from back in the day. Maybe "Jesus On The Mainline" or "In Christ Alone." Thank you!
I have heard them. Words can not express how wonderful he performed them. He sings with so much Soul. God has had his hand on Michael, even when he went through (what a lot of us experience in life).
Adam has been singing lead with the Gaither Vocal Band for several years now. You might have seen him, Wes Hampton, and Reggie Smith on the memorial service for Naomi Judd.
Mr.Crater, wado for watching & showing this gospel music video. Ivan Parker is a part of these Gaither Homecoming’s, so IF you have any time to watch the gospel video of Ivan Parker “Midnight Cry”. And MAYBE watch Jordan Feliz “Jesus Is Coming Back” 😊.
Thank you Darnell Crater for your expertise! I learned a lot by listening to you. I have just recently discovered Michael English as well as some of the other singers that were in the Gaither vocal band. I am new to gospel music. I never got into it because I thought it was churchy twangy… If music wasn’t jazz of the 40s 50s… I was interested.… Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Harry James… Those cats have always been my favorites… i’ve missed out on a lot of good music all these years… Now I’m hooked on the gospel/spiritual! Thank you again for your input!
I “rediscovered” Michael English last year. I remember when In Christ Alone was topping the charts and of course, I remember all the brouhaha over his affair. I hate I missed the 90’s and 2000’s, but I listen to him all the time. His songs are so full of the Holy Spirit. You can tell in his music when he received “Redemption”.
Michael English had an awesome voice before he fell into adultery. He did a lot of drugs and they damaged his vocal cords. He said that he wasn't even a Christian and there he was singing gospel music. He became saved after all the damage was done in his life.Who knows if he'll ever get his gift back. His voice sounds like he's straining in this video. I loved his voice back in the day.
I have listened to his youtube videos and in my opinion, he was great before and after the redemption. It's natural to lose some of the talent as one ages, but Michael has talent to spare. Praise God for Forgiveness of Sins! We would all be doomed without that!
@@phyllisdenevekostelnik3421 That is your opinion. You have the right to your opinion.I know the truth. What happened to Michael's voice has nothing to do with age. There are a lot of famous singers that still sound great into their older years. I don't know how old he was when he sang on this video. He's only 60 now not 80. I was a big fan of Michael's before he fell into adultery.I own a lot of his cassettes and cd's.I saw an interview years ago on Morris Cerullo's show on tv when he told his testimony. He sang on the show too.He was struggling to sing at the time. He said when he was on drugs he was so swollen from the drugs/steroids that his shoe size went from a size 12 to a 14.Michael damaged his vocal cords. He's come back some but he's straining still. You can watch the videos right here on YT if you want.
@@marymsc2659 Michael had surgery on his throat. I'm sure that affected his voice. To me he has more anointed and sings better because of what he has gone through. He knows and feels what redemption is about.
@@emmajenkins7111 Michael had surgery on his spine in 2010 not his throat. He smoked and did drugs so the damage from everything affected him. There are consequences for sin always. His voice was better before the fall. That's my opinion.
@Emma Jenkins Michael had surgery on his spine in 2010 not his throat. He smoked and did drugs so the damage from everything affected him. There are consequences for sin always for all of us. His voice was better before the fall. You're entitled to your opinion and so am I. Bye.
