So I been having a problem with getting the pen to connect, even after resetting the phone, and trying to reset the pen under advance settings. No matter how many times I did this and removed/reinserted the pen, it wouldn't reconnect. Found out later that I had a different bluetooth device connected while trying to reconnect the pen, and somehow that messed with it. So I disabled bluetooth, tried reconnecting the pen and it worked, it reconnected. Then I just reconnected the other bluetooth device without any issues. Give this a try, if you are having issues with "Couldn't connect to your S Pen". Once done, you can re-enable bluetooth and connect to your other device.

Hi, what exactly should I do if it still doesn't connect after trying these steps? After about a minute or so, the screen will just say "Couldn't connect to your S Pen." A bit more info though, I can still write and do anything on the Note 10's screen using my S Pen; I just can't do any of the air actions. TIA!

You saved me! I was losing light to photograph dogs and my S pen wouldn't work. I wave the pen around to get the pups attention while clicking the pictures. Thank you so very much. I watched. Try to change the tip of the S-pen, there is a tool on the box. If not, get a new s-pen. Hope it works for you 👌🏼

Hey i had the same problem I removed my phone from the cover i had it in (wallet styled 3 creditcards) and it worked streigt away. I think it was the magnet on the back for the lock that messed it up, becorse when i was doodeling it always had a cirkel i coulden draw in. 😁 hope this help 😁

Got my replacement for my spen today for my Note 10+. Even my Note 9 spen gave up on me. Shocking as it may sound, I had my Note 10+ for just a month. Never dropped, no scratches or bumps.

Good one, i thought i bought a faulty note 10 cs button would work and i could see the spot on the screen, so i knew it was charged up, only the gestures wouldn't work. Now they do after the reset. Thank you mate.

Whenever I take out my spen the battery is always at 1% & it disconnects after a few seconds... As soon as I put the pen in, it says 100% & the number then keeps fluctuating between 0-100% battery... Could you please tell me whats wrong? Is it the s pen's battery problem?

Perfect video for the simple "reboot" solution, but will never help anyone that has their s pen disconnect when it is sitting doing nothing. The S-pen is bad at that point and you need to order a new one. This video is nothing more than "Did you try restarting?"

After the most recent security update, my S pen refuses to connect to my note 10 plus. Tried reset, turning off Bluetooth, airplane mode, power cycling, etc. It will just attempt to connect for around 3-4 minutes then error out. Have yet to find a fix

HI, I have a different problem, my Pen was working perfectly until 3 days ago when I install a screen protector. After that the Pen was writing on the screen 5mm away. Today tired of this situation, I remove the screen protector and cleaned the glass. For my surprise Pen keeps writing far from the screen. I did what you said on the video and also re started the Phone, nothing seems to work.

Hi! thanks for your video, my S pen on Note 10 plus is writing while hovering but not on all the screen, just on the bottom and on the top part, on the rest of the screen works ok.

If you are using a phone cover that has magnetic it will interfere with the pen try removing the cover and it will work just fine

For everyone having issues with their s-pen not connecting. If your phone cover has a magnet, it can cause problems. Remove phone cover and try connecting.

reseting the s-pen didn't solve my issue. I just happen to wake up this morning with my s-pen keeps popping up notification that it disconnects. My phone was never damaged or abused before, after this recent update, it is still working fine. The next day, today, my pen is a brick. Reseting it does not work, restarting my phone does not too, even clearing all the caches and turning it off for 30 mins don't too. I rarely use my s-pen, and I have a light hand using it. My phone is always updated. I always keep the pen in it's place after use, so I shouldn't have issues, but it happened.

same issue. Air Action says Disconnected even if the Spen is already connected. i remember the last change was the software upgrade. that could be the reason.

Replaced my s pen recently and noticed today that the air commands were not working. Saw this video and went to the settings , just had to turn on the air commands 🤦 somehow didn't notice that myself when looking in the settings but thanks man !

I just received a new S-pen to replace a missing one, which I fortunately found before receiving the new one. After following your instructions to reset the new S-pen, all functions work correctly. However, the BT functions no longer work on the original S-pen. Is there a a way to have BT functions to work for both S-pens without having to reset each everytime I wish to change S-pens? I have enabled multiple S-pens in the settings. I thought that would enable concurrent use, but it doesn't appear to do that.

Looks like it worked. My pen never stopped working but for the last 2 updates it keeps randomly clicking up a notification that it's "disconnected" and always fails to "reconnect"

Not working for me unfortunately. Goes to the “connecting” action but then says it can’t connect. Have been having issues lately where I get notified that the s-pen (on Note 10+) is disconnected and to re-insert to connect. Do that, take it out and then it disconnects again. Very frustrating. I’ve barely ever used the pen and now I’m wondering if the battery just is not holding a charge. I can use it to tap on app, scroll on the screen, etc. but note taking app not appearing and I cannot use it to control camera which is what I primarily want to use it now for. Not impressed.

The pen jsut draws sometimes. Sometimes it just refused to draw. Another thing that make this pen absolutely unusable is that the pen sometimes draws on places that are like 3cm away from the point were I have put my pen. Reseting the pen didn't work.

Unfortunately this did not work for me but I worked out why so want to share. I had switched keyboard from Samsung to GBoard (Google keyboard). This disabled the pen when using it in the search bar. Reverting back to the Samsung keyboard fixed the issue.

the problem ive got with spen is that it keeps breaking up when i'm trying to write on pictures , ive just bought a new spen , but it's still the same , i went onto members site ,then support at the bottom , then onto diagnostics & spen to check squares on screen , it was intermitent at first , but is now all ok with new spen , but it still won't write properly , what can it be ? .
