@Konyinsola Oshinubi I'm about ordering via eBay, do you think it's actually feasible to order from Google directly and wait till 17th before ordering?
Nice comparison. Like other people here, I get frustrated by the lack of reviews of the regular models. Everything is Pro or Ultra. Thanks a lot. I subbed!
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G vs Google Pixel 7a (2 Year Old PREMIUM Midranger vs New Midranger) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dWLDDBsjiLw.html
Pixel 7/7 pro are finally everything I love and wanted for Google phones. They're so silky smooth. Zero bugs somehow. But my favorite upgrade from the 6 is that thermal management and sustained performance are SO much better.
@@frazer9 Unlike the Pixel 6 which almost everyone had issues with, Pixel 7 is the opposite. Of course some users will have bugs but that's true for every phone out there. S22, iPhone 14, etc...
Great comparison video. I'm rocking the green s22 and I love it. I really like the size and style, but I guess you can't go wrong with the Pixel. It's a matter of choice
The battery is the only complaint I got for the S22 🥲 Everything else be it the camera or the software experience Samsung nails it..Google might own the Android but Samsung runs it 🫡
I really enjoyed this video. The comparison was clear and very easy to understand. I hope to see more of this kind of videos in the near future. Keep it up man!
Love your content. I am switching to Pixel 7 from iPhone 14 Pro Max. The only thing I will be missing is using Face ID for biometric logins. Unfortunately, Pixel 7 only option is the fingerprint scanner, which is quite inaccurate, I hope it improves in future updates.
I love my Pixel 7, and stock Android. I don't want any skin over Android, so the S22 is not really an option for me. Great video. You got a new subscriber.
I guess it's more about personal preferences. I like the stock Android experience better, with zero bloatware. And if you value fast updates, both Android updates and security updates, you can't beat the Pixel.
Pixel phones have become very huge and thicker at that. Used to love their compact and thinner phones. Held an S22 and it almost the same size as my Pixel 3, very handy and compact.
Get the Pixel 7 or wait for the Galaxy S23. I returned the S22 since it was a miserable downgrade too many features removed than new upgrades. I prefer S10 over the standard S22
Killer Black Friday deals on the Pixel 7 combined with reviews like this have me ready to FINALLY go Pixel. I've been wanting to do this for years but haven't for reasons varying from device availability, superior pricing on a similar competitor device, or severe flaws/bugs with that year's model. But it looks like the stars have aligned and the time is at hand! Now if only the Pixel 7 in my hand could have a telephoto lens to zoom in on those stars. Maybe next time Google? 🤔
Wish Pixel 7 has both physical sim slots. Its the only reason I left Pixel 7 and went for Samsung S22. But I am also happy with S22 as it might not be best in anything but its a beastly little phone. Plus the 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security update makes it a no brainer. I have been using OneUi 2.5 from 2019 on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and it still runs absolutely great. Cameras too are great on S22. In display finger print sensor is a charm of the user experience it brings. If I had my left hand functional I would have preferred its elder brother the mighty Samsung S22 Ultra. Anyways great review dude :)
You really didn't need s22 if you had the Note 9. It's kind of a downgrade. But if you really wanted something compact, then may be it's worth it, although it's no match for the Pixel 7 in software, camera, battery life.
@@crczr My left hand got damaged in a road accident in 2019. Since then I am managing life through my right arm. That's the only reason now I bought a Samsung S22 so that one hand use gets easier 😊😊
I've been a pixel user since the first XL. I have a 6a now and it is such a good phone. I may consider getting an 8 when they drop. The device is so fluid and quick with a unique design.
@@CallMeKJOS I think I'm going to get the 7. I didn't realize how nice the 7 series is. I can trade in my 6a and get it free on T-Mobile. I plan on doing that next week
I have both of these. The S22 6.1" size and weight is fantastic. the phone is fast. the only disappointing part is the camera. The Pixel 7 camera is way better. Also, since they dropped .1" off the 7, if feels way better in the hand than the pixel 6. The pixel 7 is the best phone on the market today for the money.
Best unbiased review I have seen between the 2 phones. I just switched from my galaxy s21 to pixel 7 and have not been disappointed @ all!! Highly recommend
First time watching your video. Great job! Really enjoyed it. My only complaint is, I wish you would've put the phones side by side. That way, we could see the size difference. The Pixel 7 felt wider to me, when I held it. Side note: Google offers trade ins for Samsung phones (along with others). So, you can buy the Pixel 7 for about $200-$250, depending on trade in values.
nice video, i have huawei p30 and and want to buy nice phone with very nice screen and good performance, i'm not a gamer , i hesitate between pixel 7, s21 fe and xiaomi 12T ?!!! what do you choose between them ?
I'm a Google pixel user and must say I prefer the design and display of the S22. The pixel 7 looks a bit odd and unfinished plus the camera bar looks like it's made of cheap material. I believe the standard pixel 7 screen brightness reaches 1000 nits and not 1400 nits , the 7pro screen does reach 1400 nits . Only downside to the S22 it's it's battery life and a bit of bloat. I'd go for the Samsung if it had a better battery 🔋
Only thing stopping me from buying pixel is service centers, I'm from India and I've heard from many that if pixel gets damaged than the after sales service is very bad and also parts price are crazy, so i think I'll wait for s23 lineup to launch 😣
It's a problem for almost any phone actually, the after sales service is pretty much a mixed bag regardless of the brands, at some places it is good at others its the worst, but i do get your point about the pixel here. Pixel doesn't have a lot of service centers in India right now. So it's less accessible already.
@@CallMeKJOS no actually, I have visited almost all service centers except nothing and apple and the repair cost are reasonable Bt for pixel I have seen many utube vdos, for repairing charges are crazy like more than almost half of the phone price for display issue and stuff, I'm writing this comment after going thru lot of vdos especially for indian region, nothing against any brand infact I was super happy to get my first pixel bt... now I dnt think so
Thank you so much for this video! I still have a S9, but contemplate on buying a S22+ or Pixel 7/7Pro. What about connectivity, as I hear about a lot of problems for the pixel 7 and 7 pro, which prevents me from buying a pixel 7 (still). And, how do samsung apps work on a Pixel, any experience?
@Hein De Vries some, but if price is the worry you should probably go with the pixel. They have the best value, while the s22 or s23 has the better quality and performance.
hey thank you for the video. I know that it is only sold in the United States but if I shipped it to my country here do I have a guarantee that it will work? as far as sim card size, plug etc ... can u advise please
I want to get a phone with good battery life and good for gaming (such as Roblox or Minecraft) I heard great things for both of the phones. The g7 is good for battery life and the S22 is good for gaming. In the future I will see how Google and Samsung improved. If Google gets better overtime then I will buy another Google phone but if Samsung gets better overtime than I'm going with Samsung. But if I do move to Samsung I will miss some features on google tho.
Nice video 👍 1 thing you forgot in the camera test is the front facing camera. The pixel is terrible in low light conditions. i actually kept my s22 and returned the pixel 7. The s22 looks and feels premium to me. I run 60 hz on my s22 and get all day battery life. Pixel is a very very good price! I only gave 500 for my s22, so I'm happy with that. Using the pixel made me appreciate one ui even more. I did not expect that. Lastly, the camera bar on the pixel looks dreadful.
Nice vid. I have the P7 and it's pretty good but why is it so heavy? It weighs as much as the S22 Plus which has a bigger screen and a telephoto lens. I'm also hoping battery life improves.
Hi,i was about to buy the pixel 7 but i just heard about the camera cracking of more and more users around the world...can you please update me about this situation...I'm really scared to buy it now ngl...
My biggest fear is the battery life. Heard a lot of negativity. Keep in mind, these results are with a brand new phone. Over time, that performance will get even worse.....
S22 is arguably one of the worst modern phones to ever release. You could leave your fully charged phone inside of your vehicle, bag, or locker for your entire work shift without touching it and your battery will be at 45% when you clock out to go home 😂. Any other phone including the iPhone will have you at 75-80% at the very worst and that includes you watching RU-vid and playing with social media during your lunch break!
@@CallMeKJOS just found out its probably only in the US. Im from europe and cant find any info on there beeing a discount not even on googles own site 😞
You are just a Pixel fanboy... I want your honest opinion about three of my concerns 1. Does Pixel 7 heat a lot?? 2. Does it have network issues?? Especially while traveling by train and going to underground facilities?? 3. Finally, if I buy Pixel 7 in 2023; how many years of updates will i receive?? PS: I am getting this device for 468 USD... What do you think?? Kindly reply as I need to buy this phone within 2 days... Thanks
After android 14 no heating anymore Not much of network issues Total 4 years of updates, which is great. 468$ is great, after pixel 8 gets more popular as well, pixel 7-s price might even decrease in a month or so.
I own pixel 7, at first I faced heating issues which were annoying, but after updates it got fixed and even the battery too, it's solid phone. Pixel 8 looks superior, but a bit expensive. Pixel 7 might become cheaper soon
Good video, but it misses one key point, the Samsung has access to the Galaxy Store, which includes several apps which many people prefer to the Google version. With Samsung, you can still have the Google version if you prefer, but not vice versa (with one or two exceptions, such as the Samsung browser). I've had many Samsung and Pixel phones and most actions, such as editing photos, require much more work on Pixels. As things stand, I would buy an S22 over a Pixel 7, even at £200 more (or whatever it is).
I watched your all video and was surprised when you declared the Pixel 7 clear winner. Also you completely missed the low light photo conditions where the S22 blow away the Pixel 7.
Why does no one talk about the TERRIBLE sound quality on the 7s ? I've tried 2 and hate it . Been a Pixel user since yhe 3 and they really screwed up the sound . Already traded in at Verizon so now I'm stuck and want out .
Is it true about the pixel 7, that it's fingerprint censor is bad and the battery is extremely bad. Also people tend to complain about the sound quality as well.
