while samsung phones are made on android, it runs a different user interface (android skin) called one ui which works like a completely different operating system(but based on android and is a samsung ecosystem). it means it can run samsung apps and has a app store called galaxy app store(of course it has google play too). it also many build apps and feature that isnt available stock or pixel version of android too@@EmmieSuksai

Nick you really should have waited for the QPR1 December featuredrop update for Pixel 8.. It's essentially its first ever major firmware update since release and 'drastically' improves overall stability and performance.. not to mention It started releasing today finally so a comparison video with the update would have been better.

We all know to be fair that the S23 Ultra is the faster and more powerful device (and the most expensive), and that the Pixel takes the best photos in comparisons made in auto modes on ALL smartphones. The S23 Ultra has better pro modes in both photos and videos for those who know what they are doing, or for those who want to develop photographic skills. The Pixel is very fresh and appealing at the moment with it's use (Often off device) of AI, but both Apple and Samsung will leap onboard the AI bandwagon now because they know it is the way to go. When they develop AI muscle, Google will have a fight to keep up. It is a fight I believe they are capable of holding their own in however.

The thing is pixel 8 pro and i phone 15 pro series are recent model or new model with upgraded ui,camera,feature,etc bt let's not forget that s23 ultra a 1 year old model giving best competition to all pixel 8 pro and 15 pro series.....and also have best performance in every aspect....

S23 Ultra is not quite 1 year old it came out this year and has competitive specs even now. The S24 Ultra will be the 2024 flagship, hence the name 24 for year 2024

One thing I hate about samsung screens is they get to me eyes more they flash even if yoy cant see it all oled screens do but samsungs seems to be higher which I dont like anymore and the brighter samsung gets the more it gets to my eyes. I also hate how samsung is pushing coloes with there brightness the white sub pixel is being pushed to hard making colors brighter yes but lighter also. I prefer the darker deeper coloes on the pixel its really really nice on the eyes and still very very colorful. You can see it on the reds even. The contrast is actually better also in person. I also dont care how fast a game loads it matters when in it how it performs. Thats like back when iphone opened games faster didnt matter.

Pixel always has a issues with reception, nice clean software but have let me down too many times , make sure ram plus is switched off on samsung , a lot faster without it , animation speed 0.5 also a must.

advantages of the pixel: google makes top notch software, great quality apps, which is rare on Android. + pixel has better camera advantages of s23 ultra : the ui is more beautiful, more customization, better chipset, both in cpu and gpu. the camera has better zoom

In many ways it will, but it many other ways it probably won't. Not at release at least. The S23 Ultra has had many months of fine tuning don't forget.

Just a tiny stutter, pixels was choppy when scrolling in play store 3:06, and ios has these tiny stutters rarely too But pixel is the worst at scrolling, its choppy in many apps especially social media
