I chose the OnePlus 11 over the Google pixel 7 Pro while the 7 Pro was still on sale. I did this mainly based on the fact that I hate the tensor chip sets and pixel phones are really lacking in the hardware department. However, the s23 Plus hadn't really debuted yet but, I still wouldn't have chosen it at $1,000. It may be a solid device but, it's just not worth it. In fact, I still would not have chosen it if it were cheaper and offered by a carrier. Frankly, I don't do carrier phones under any circumstances. My personal choice is factory unlocked or nothing.

Hands down OnePlus 11 is the best of the three. Owned the Pixel 7 Pro and returned it. Had a subpar finger print scanner, poor battery life with really slow charging, and the network kept disconnecting. Camera is good on it but overhyped honestly and not better than the other options. Great video, and comprehensive breakdown! These phones really are getting closer and closer in features. It's coming down to more of "get what you've always had, or try something new". Having shopped all 3.. I bought the 7 Pro which is my first Pixel phone. I had OP before and was SUPER tempted to get a Samsung this go-around, but ended up with the Pixel. So far I've only had to charge it mid-day I think twice- and I was REALLY using it up. Battery was my biggest concern as my last phone was getting fatigue and I just didn't want to live next to a charger anymore. Thankfully though, most days I end up with about 35-45% battery as I'm going to sleep. Sometimes it's down into the 20's. I put it on the charger and I know it'll generally hold on great for the next day. My biggest gripes so far have been the charge speed as well as the heat this thing can generate. I don't like my phones to get hot. I'll hold them in front of fans, crack a window in the car and let the air cool them down. I hate heat. And this phone seems to make a hobby out of warming itself up. I'm almost convinced it's a tactic to keep me on my toes. That said, this has been my favorite phone I've ever owned. I'm so glad I didn't get an OP or Samsung. I was curious about the Pixel, and have been for years, but I just never had a reason to buy one. But with OP's increasingly aggressive pricing (that they seem to have curtailed) I started looking at Samsung, who is admittedly a strong player in the Android game given how they've positioned themselves. It came down to really just one thing. I wanted something different... Pixel gave me a better device than Samsung did. If they had an Ultra-mini with a Quad HD screen in the form factor of the Plus I may have gone that direction. My Pixel is already as big as I'd ever go since I like to one-hand my phones. My hands are also pretty big, but the Ultra is just too much real estate for me to comfortably hold my phone over my face when laying down without fear of dropping it. No thank you. Big screens are cool for TV's and theaters. With phones there really is "too big", and I don't consider the Ultra simply a phone. It's more of a phablet. I wouldn't use something like that for productivity as I do have a dedicated tablet computer- I want my phone to be a phone without getting in my way. As an aside, I've heard knocks against the Pixel UI, but this is what actually drew me in. I feel Google made a heck of a device and supported it REALLY WELL with their software integration. No bloat-ware, no extras that I don't need. Just Android. So easily customizable without rooting too which is such a good touch. Simple is best for me and with a straightforward launcher, custom wallpaper/lock screen (I love the always-on display btw) and a few daily use apps.. I haven't looked back. I could easily have much the same experience with the other two, but after having the Pixel 7 Pro for a few months now, I am SO GLAD to be a convert. At least for now :)
@ArthurZakaryan23
@ArthurZakaryan23 Год назад
My first Pixel was the Pixel 6. Prior to getting it, I devalued many of the things that made a Pixel unique, mainly the software features like the call screening, hold for me, fastest voice transcription of any phone. The call screening alone is enough to keep me in the Pixel family and with my 7 Pro now, a better phone than the 6 in every way, the decision for me is easy now and moving forward. I appreciate the existence of the OP11 and S23 Plus and if the Pixel didn't exist then it would be a easy OP11 for me. I don't care for Samsung software and although OP is mostly just a rebranded Color OS in terms of software, it's still better for me than OneUI.

The cameras are amazing and this phone is just a beast a delight to use.🎉 Already got two firmware updates and we are currently at march security update. So OnePlus is keeping their firmware updates promise. OnePlus are so confident about their new OnePlus 11 product that they are offering 100 days of returns and no questions asked. And instant trade in credits plus a trade in bonuses, free shipping and you can use affirm financing zero interest 🎉🎉.. what!! You are crazy not to get the new OnePlus 11. This new OnePlus is definitely going the right direction. Oh and their tech support has had a revamped for sure and a whole lot of improvements on how they operate in a positive more efficient way. And lastly full 5G certification on all USA wireless carriers!! It works flawlessly with Verizon, at&t, T-Mobile and dish wireless. I have tested them all, and all 5G ❤

First of all, I'm not a Samsung fan, to begin with. I have OnePlus 7 Pro and I still have it; that is the BEST OnePlus phone ever made. But this year, I picked S23+ over OnePlus's latest phone. OnePlus as a company, tend to mess around every major Android update, battery efficiency has dwindled with every update they make, not to mention security updates which take MONTHS (2, 3, or even 4 months) before you get the latest security updates from them. Oxygen UI has become a joke as well and confusing to use. I would say they f**k up old phones and would prefer new ones and forget the older ones. Also, you mentioned they all have 128GB of internal storage, I think S23+ starts at 256GB of storage, they don't have a 128GB model, and I think it's one of the reasons why it is more expensive than the other phones. Please get your facts right before saying misinformation that would lead some of your viewers to the wrong judgment. S23+ has so many features that you could use for daily use, not just DEX. Modes and Routines are simple automation but it is so helpful in different scenarios. The Side Panel also has those nice little quirks, but it just makes sense to it. You're right about the wireless charging, but it's not also a feature that you would hate, coming from a phone that doesn't have wireless charging, S23+, or other phones that has wireless charging is convenient, to say the least. To sum it up, Best camera and vanilla android experience and the best updates = Pixel Best bang for the buck that has the latest chip = OnePlus Best phone features and quality = Samsung - That's a fact.

Bro same, have the OnePlus 7 pro. I would happily run the phone for another year but then came that forsaken update and I wish I knew better before updating to the latest OS. The phone has become just a sorry state of affairs, it's a shame cause it's the best they have made. So now I'm looking at whether to get the S23+ or wait for pixel 8 Pro. What would you suggest?
@primosaiz
@primosaiz Год назад
@@star_platinum19 I still don't have the confidence to say Tensor chip from Pixel phones especially the leak specs for Pixel 8 could par with SD 8 Gen 2, they say it has more cores than 8 Gen 2, but I doubt. The new Motorola has some nice features, but I'd still pick S23+. The screen is perfect, even if it's 1080p, it just looks more crispy and saves some juice in the long run as well.

How's the battery life and heat management on it compared to your OnePlus 11? Still happy with your purchase? I'm considering returning the Pixel 7 because the battery is subpar and takes so long to charge and the phone gets very warm doing basic things. Software has been smooth and great though

@@scrotiemcboogerballs2133 The OnePlus is superior when judging battery (just barely) and charging performance. Also, it didn't get as hot.
