Considering the pictures in which Daenerys is pregnant surely we can say that the original idea for the final season was a little bit different, maybe in that version it would have been mediocre as season 7 and not a total disaster as it was at the end.
You dumbass What did you expect Disney ending? A happy ending? If you want happy ending then go watch Disney Movies. Let me tell you something, GOT is not a Disney Fairytale where things ends happily ever after. You're a fan (or maybe not) and you should know that.
prcw blck big disagree. Since we already knew the battle took place in the 3rd, I felt it was properly tense and somber. People saying goodbyes and preparing for the battle that the series had always built up to. It didn’t need to be explosive or kinetic. I felt it was exactly what it needed to be.
prcw blck haha yea. In its totality, I actually greatly enjoyed The Battle of Winterfell. Jorah, Theon and Beric all had amazing moments and I felt the desperation. Didn’t even really mind the darkness all that bad. I just HATED how they did Jon in that battle and the fact that Arya killed the Night King. It was a great spectacle imo, but the ending fucks it up.
They should still redo season 8 it was horrendous and it ruins the whole show, I have not watched it since. How could HBO allow their one of their best shows ever to get ruined like that and not fix it?
I still laugh at the fact that someone thought it would be a good idea to put people down in the crypts even though that's where all of the dead people are. 😂😂
I mean to be fair: They captured one of them and kept it successefully in a wooden box when they brought it all the way to Cercei. Going from that experience i also wouldnt have expected that they can break through stone-walls, but here we go i guess.
I'm curious, whree do you think they should have put the people who couldn't fight? They didn't exactly have many options. The White Walkers and their Weights were destroying the castle all around them.
@@ramsolo8819 Funnier when you think he rode Rhaegal but did absolutely nothing against the Night King. Even Daenerys gave him some dracarys but Jon was just flying around.
Most of the Karstark men, alongside the Umber-soldiers, were in the Battle of the Bastards. Still there should be plenty left, if you recall the scene where Ned Umber asks for more wagons to transport his people from the Last Hearth to Winterfell, surely the Karstarks wouldnt be 'nearly wiped out'...During the War of the Five Kings, it was mentioned that Karstark-men made up about HALF of Robb's army. The Karstarks should atleast be able to muster a few thousand troops still, like the Umbers, especially for this fight, 'recruitment' had been adjusted to younglings and women as well so.... yeah. The scenes you see in this video kinda confirm how badly the last 2 seasons were rushed off... So much more could and should have been in that...So many characters and stories 'untold'.... I'd expected Jon and Daenerys to arrive in White Harbor, to be fair, and Lord Manderly welcoming them...? Willas Manderly was the first to name Jon, King in the North, it'd be fitting to see hís reaction towards the Dragonqueen, for instance? 'Lost opportunity' from DnD again...
Well, it doesn't seem like they got complete approval since they're deleted scenes? :) And I think that's something they got right -- to delete these scenes. But yes, in essence, I agree.
If Emilia Clarke didn’t break character with some of her facial expressions during that last scene with Missandei it would’ve made that part of the episode more interesting as well as further developing Missandei and Dany’s relationship.
@@leandrorodriguez6973 Cause she's not a good actress. And honestly we really didnt need more scenes of dany with anyone. We shouldve gotten scenes from anyone else, hell give us some stark bonding.
Idiris Shekh, Fredrika Bremergymnasiet SA19b elev ‘most popular show of all time’? It’s nowhere near the most popular show, it’s only the highest viewed cable series and only managed to surpass HBO’s previous champion, True Blood late into its run. Game of Thrones’ highest recorded viewership was 19.3 million domestic for its finale. Comparatively, the M*A*S*H finale recorded 106 million domestic. Game of Thrones was a pop culture phenomenon for the 2010’s much as LOST was in the 2000’s and while they were both respectively huge for their times they aren’t anywhere close to the most watched series of all time.
What did Tyrion actually do to teach her anything about the cultures of Westeros? Because Tyrion should’ve mentioned the North will never bow to another person so easily. Aegon never spent much time in the north to realize the Northerners probably didn’t like him.
Even the deleted scenes had nonsense logic in the battle of Winterfell THE MASS OF WIGHTS ARE COMING FOR THE PERSON YOURE PROTECTING WHY WANDER INTO THE FOG TO SEE WHATS SHAKIN?
I wish that Jon explained to Dany that Sansa has troubles trusting people because of what happened to her. Edit: Wow, I've never had this many likes before, thanks! 😦😊
I wished either him or her could've explained that to her, I really think the two of would've been good friends or atleast got along under different circumstances
The unsullied body language in the presence of their Queen is so powerful. That’s respect. “They will be fighting for freedom. AND THE PERSON WHO GAVE IT TO THEM. They will be fighting for you. And that’s why they will win” -
I loved it, thought I would rewatch it time and again, then seasons 7 and 8 came. Both utter garbage, the show is ruined, I have no desire to watch it again.
The reason we hate s8 is because the season 1 to 6 are so good that we expected a lot for the final season and they took 2 years to make the final one but it was better than "the witcher" and "breaking bad season 1 and 2" but our expectation was like avengers endgame and we got age of Ultron
I feel like D&D did this on purpose. TV-series can be remembered as very well written or very badly. Either one will do. I think that when a TV series end very bad it will be stuck longer by its viewers than when its written very well like LotR.
S8 cersei killed, jamie alive and supporting jon. Jon and danerys married, rule throne together. Tyrion hand, bran advisor, all north south has same king and queen. Sansa just a girl from king family, arya fighting as a soldier for jon and daenerys. They have 1 dragon still left. Briene and jamie married This should be the ending.
Actress who played Cersei mentioned at Comic-Con, I think, a scene that they shot of her having a miscarriage She was having a real miscarriage but D&D just kept rolling absolute mad men
It was literately an undead army smashing against the walls, everybody, before even the Wall went down, should've been trained to fight or sent South. Nobody should've been hiding in the Crypt. Hell, even dogs should have been made to fight- Would they have just been fodder? Yes but fighting fodder and let's not forget the other wargs in the Wildling army, those guys coulda got to bears or packs of wolves to fight too, or be scouts? Like here's the list of who shouldn't have been there. Davos, Tyrion, Varys, MISSANDEI and SAMWELL, Sansa, Gilly, and her baby, even that kid with a limp by the trenches definitely shouldn't have been there. The complete misuse of the Dothraki who don't blindly charge into the enemy but rear and attack with their bows. Don't get me started on the dragons because how they were utilized in the defense was anarchy, that doesn't even top where the trebuchets and catapults are because Winterfell is MASSIVE, with enough space to place inside the castle. Dan and Dave man, dudes can creat magic like the Arya/Tywin dialogue but they became such quitters and 'wanted to do other things' like goddamn, and petty too as they could have easily bowed out as Showrunners to somebody else because HBO execs wanted more Thrones and woulda greenlit more seasons with more money as GoT was HBO's baby. I don't blame the actors as they did what they could, sorry, everyone. I clearly have not gotten over the betrayal that was Dan and Dave who I later found out are hack showrunners anyway given such a beautiful IP and rammed it right into the ground destroying my soul.
In Dubrovnik right now, tour guide showed me photos of a scene of John and Cersei having a dispute in a large tower (happens to be same place they filmed House or Undying). We can only dream of seeing the unreleased alternate endings.
