Well when you get a time paradox, you her "you changed the future", i think its because youre playing as venom snake training because of the refrences to 1982 and '83 and it would also fit with the story of mgs5. Game theory made a video about it.

Since MGS3 takes place before all the other games Snake, Eva and Oceletot must be kept alive. If they die, that would change the upcoming events of the entire franchise, thus a time paradox.
It technically is not a timeparadox because that is timetraveling and changing stuff to make yourself impossible(either changing major information or making the timetravel impossible). But I can understand why they chose that term because "future changed" is not exactly a cool name for a tyoe of game over.

The Boss gives 10 minutes to beat her. If you don't beat her in 5 minutes, she'll starts counting the minutes which the game's theme will be playing on the background and starts the lyrics once you have 3 minutes. The game will pause the song during on Codec calls which Zero and Sigint will tell you that you're running out of time if you call them
It’s actually weird and funny that during the boss battle with ocelot you can fall in the cave pit and die but [spoiler alert] After the boss battle hornets come in attacking you which leads to falling in the cave pit but you don’t die [metal gear logic]
C4 was invented however it wasn’t really effective during this time since it was only around 10 years old during the timeline. C3 was more effective since it had been around longer and was a lot more older and had been tested and apparently had been more effective. A few decades later C4 would become more developed and advanced. This is why MGS1 and MGS2 would conduct the use of C4 since it had became more stronger then the C3. However C3 during 1964 which was when MGS3 takes place had been a better product then the C4 but the C4 would later become a main focus and become a stronger bomb later.
@@z0_vzdon't forget that Snake and Kaz mentions about the C3 and C4 in Peace Walker about that the C3 are now useless because it couldn't handle cold temperature.
