Allen Finn I really don't think Nintendo puts deep or artistic themes in their games, they always make it clear they either want to innovate, experiment, and bring fun and entertainment to kids. I do think they specialize in creating complete holistic worlds (Metroid, Pikmin, Earthbound, Zelda and Mario have really great atmospheres) and Majora's mask struck a cord with people because it deals with very unusual and themes that can resonate more with adults than kids. As for your comment of it being more artistic, I'd have to disagree, I don't think there's any video game that is as artistic as many movies, literature, theater, paintings, sculptures, and music. It's around the same level as comics, TV, and animation for sure, but the medium isn't there yet.

This parody hit the nail on the head. I used to watch Game Theory and I found some of it interesting however as time went on the number of "no shit Sherlock" episodes kept going up until the channel lost all value. Or maybe they were always like that and 14 year old me just was too much of an idiot to notice. I don't have any motivation to find out.
I really hate Gametheory, and while I thought your parody of the dude was really funny it doesn't highlight the thing that completely ruins the "show" to anyone over the age of thirteen, and that is his use of cringe-worthy "humour".

i'm kinda confused this is a parody i get that but what is the point. is that the joke? is it funny because game theory is making ideas based on already fictional things so there's no point? there was one funny joke but besides that one joke it's nothing. if anyone has watched onision and saw those weird videos where he says smosh stole his ideas, the joke being they wore the same shirt, is this like that because i don't get it. i mean really and the weird part is people are angry and calling each an asshole or to grow up so it's strange, uncalled for anger for something that is weirdly just nothing and pure boredom. wait is that what this video is saying? is the creator saying game theory is pure nothing and utter boredom. if so fair enough i'll give it a like because it sounds like i'm trying to be rude but this is my honest feedback on this video. it could be i'm a total dumb ass and there's something just going over my head

Bru i love your reviews but these cynical satire vids just depress me. I get how disappointing reality is, but what exact purpose does slapping us with satire practically dripping with cynical condescension aimed at other things that disappointed us even do? aside from making twelve year olds chuckle. This entire video just makes me feel like i wasted twenty mins of my time listening to a guy pissing on everything that ever failed his expectations for the sake of venting his own frustration with it. Make more of those reviews, that's where you shine, this other shit is....I mean it's fine but i fail to see the point in it.
I love game theory, and for the first time since I've ever internetted, I have to leave a negative comment. I don't think you should use the Game Theory symbol in the thumbnail, or "Game Theory" in the title, that's using someone else's reputation to click this video. Otherwise, you're entitled to your opinion, and your sense of humor in this parody did make me laugh. As a loyal theorist, I do have to defend MatPat however.

Regardless of people's opinions on his work, he IS successful. He doesn't NEED defending, it's not like you two are gonna go out for beers later or anything.
