That rattling noise sounds awefully like a coin or a screw to me. If left in there that could short the PSU or logic board - I wouldn't risk leaving that in there. Fantastic pick up for a dollar! Regards the Magic Eraser - People don't realise they are abrasive and quite possibly one of the worst things you can use to clean plastic. All scuffs like that come off using alcohol and you don't risk marking the case. If you look carefully at the plastic in the light after using a Magic Eraser you can see the scratches it creates. Please don't take my comments the wrong way - Love the channel and the vids, always learning new stuff from channels like yours. You can also use Meguiars PlastX to clean scuffs and scratches off PVC and it's pretty much none abrasive.
A Dollar... man lol Just bought this same unit (although with a binder of 10 or so games, two controllers [one six button], box, and all cables for $200 at my local retro game store. ) You got the better deal man LOL. Can't beat that! Love love garage sale finds like this.
I wanted one so bad i paid like $150 on ebay for a fz1 Then i paid $25 for a long box copy of road rash. Played for 5 minutes and loved it. Left positive feedback. Pllayed for 10 minutes and realized there was a deep gouge on the outer edge of the disc that was game breaking. Havent touched the system since.
For console cases I use things like 303 protectant or some other similar car products that are designed for car interiors. 303 can hide minor scratches as well.
Great deal ,I once bought a little pocket size black and white television (made by Casio) at a yard sale for a dollar the lady said it was a calculator even had a headphone with it ,wrapped up together with a rubber band worked great uses 2 double A batteries was missing battery cover though
Awesome video Adam. love these things where you clean them up and show us shit. I bought some items because of your SCART video and now I have it all hooked up to a sega genesis Model 2 and looking good!
Nice find Adam! I love yardsailing! You never know what you'll find at a random sale. Glad it works, but you shoulda tested it with The Coven haha! We can all stand to learn a thing or two about proper staff usage.
