You do know that the first time was just a rant, right? The phone call after was added for comic relief. Plus, the only way Mishima could've known was because he, Ren, Ryuji and Ann were the only 4 who had a problem with Kamoshida - and since he didn't do anything, he automatically narrowed down the Phantom Thieves to being the other 3

@@fierytigergaming8112 You do know it's a meme, right? That Ryuji's volume control is terrible as well as his ability to not spill things like that in public is established througout the story, which is why the meme exists in the first place. Maybe you're just tired. You should get some rest.

It's pretty hilarious that Mishima, the guy everybody treats as a nuisence, is both the cause of and the solution to the biggest problem the team face in the game. Best boy.

Props to Mishima, he was definitely a big part of the Phantom Thieves rise. He was sorta smart in piecing things together, especially since he knew the only ones who knew were Joker & Ryuji. Chances are, the confrontation back in the Faculty Office didn't fall on deaf ears when it came to Mishima.

I think the whole point of Mishima's character was *not* being a Phantom Thief and how it affected him. At first he was really excited to help, but then he started feeling like he was entitled to more recognition, and finally went back to being genuinely happy to help any way he could after you talked to his shadow in Mementos.

@@Dastardly_Duo I've heard about Hifumi, didn't know about Mishima. I'd have loved to see her as a Thief but I think Mishima works better the way he turned out to be. He was the guy trying to do the right thing even without any powers.

I kind of imagine him being to Persona 5 what Kido is to Yakuza 4. On the surface he looks kind of weak and frail, but in the Metaverse he wants nothing more than to break your face.

Well, at the beginning at least. Everyone who doesn't figure it out in the story figures it out completely by rank 10. The fact that they have someone they're having trouble with who suddenly has a change of heart when they got close to this one weird kid is kind of a big tip off

It helps if you max it out once you unlock him again in the new game plus you get all of perks

His path gives lots of experience gain benefits, most useful for the "leaked experience" to teammates who aren't in combat. Plus, that's how you get some of the Mementos targets who are... useful for a couple reasons. (Confusion cash farming, if I'm not mistaken.)
