@@jeramieshoe837well for one the grapple hook in dying light 2 has so many ways it can be used to get around. Mirrors edge it’s very binary. Another more physical example is how dying light 2 allows for the player to interact with buildings in so many ways. You can inside a good amount of them. You can also wall run anywhere. You can use parkour more meaningfully in combat. I have a video on my channel that does comparisons between the systems where it does this subject more justice. I mean can you could perhaps name one or two things here you can do in mirrors edge. Other than that dying light 2 is ahead of the game.

@@berice4390 grapple hook in dying light 2 was glitch and felt clunky as fuck. It was more annoying to use than fun and just took me out of the experience like the parachute did.

I’m on Xbox but I use the heavy attack button for me which is rt. Also make sure you have the parkour settings on physical.

The way he kicks like 90 degree from the direction he is swinging isn't realistic, neither is jumps half way up that building off the ground, and when he's sliding down the side of a wall, he wouldn't be able to launch his body upwards with that much momentum

@@judsalotI mean at that point is it possible to grapple directly at anything with dying light 1’s grapple or turn 360 degrees to make a jump. Also in the case of dyinglight 2 we know Aiden is an enhanced human/zombie hybrid due to the experiments he faced as a child which I think justifies that.

Last year they made it so volatiles spawn on rooftops actually and improved the chases and volatiles overall. Also added nightmare mode which enhances that experience. Very good stuff.

Have you tried nightmare mode?

On nightmare mode once you get chased the whole god damn neighborhood hears you getting chased and every rooftop you cross there’s a volatile that jumps right out of a hatch and tries to kill your

Probably cus it's vertical(screen) I guess....the actual parkour gameplay is reaaally good...especially when you are leveled up

@@mud0ta at that point it’s subjective. I will say I was pushing the game to outside limits. And also I still figuring out how shorts work but yeah this screen isn’t representative of how good the parkour feels in recent updates. (It’s the best first person parkour imo)

I don’t know if you’ve seen other videos or played the game yourself but it’s very much physics based. so it may be weird depending on how the player does it. I think it feels great better than one as it was just a row to shoot to a direction.

@berice4390 only problem is it took them 2 years to make it better, all my friends that I played with then already beat it and are onto new games lol the game skipped 5-6 story missions for me so I missed out on the middle part of the game. It sucks that I had to wait 2 years for the game to be playable after everyone else lost interest. It was fun up until all that happened

They added guns and few months ago. Also they didn’t add guns as it didn’t make sense in there time period.
