Garbage Disposal Clogged? Sink Clogged? Not Draining? 

Thank you! You saved me 250+. We just lost my husband, so doing these things is difficult. This video saved our sanity and our disposal

So we are all girls and we live in an apartment that has 24hr maintenance on site so we never really needed to get anything done ourselves. Unfortunately, our sink got clogged and due to COVID-19, maintenance is temporarily not available so we had no choice but to get it done ourselves. My sister and I got through 2 videos before yours and sir this video of yours saved us!!! Omg you have no idea how happy we are that we were able to do this ourselves. You are so detailed and straight to the point unlike other videos. We unclogged the sink ourselves (though it was a little messy 😩) but everything else went smooth! You sir are a lifesaver and we just wanted to say a big thank you for this video!!

Heart felt thank you at 1 a.m. on a Saturday night! I just needed that little push to see how to take apart the "down there" of my kitchen sink and garbage disposal. Your video de-mystified everything enough that I was encouraged to go ahead, take it all apart and clean. Reamed it all out - there was some jelly like goop just before the left free drain, impinging the right/disposal drain as well as the onion skins I had just tried to dispose of (stupid me). Husband is asleep, I cook a lot and tomorrow is a day I just could not wake up to a non-functional sink and the nightmare of trying to find a plumber (we so rarely have needed one). I am so grateful for your straight forward guidance. All is well, and my sink and under sink are working again and clean as a whistle. Thank you thank you!!!

Straight up owe you a HUGE thank you! My garbage disposal "died" on Friday and that just so happened to be the night my fiancée made fried chicken. So the office to my apartment complex is of course closed Saturday and Sunday, so it's been really rank in the kitchen. I was cleaning up the kitchen tonight (or I guess morning) getting ready to go tell the office today about it and I thought to myself "no, it's just a dang disposal, can't be that hard." I found your video and you have the exact disposal I do, sure enough the button was tripped, so I pushed the button and flipped the switch on and it started buzzing. Ok, that's progress. I flipped it back off and went to the garage to get my hex key set and I put the 1/4" in there and sure enough, it was stuck. So I cranked it a few times until it was easy to turn, flipped the switch on and voila! It "purred" right back to life! Saved me from having to wait for the office to finally get to me and having the cops called on me for the smell of rotting chicken flesh coming from my apartment 😆

Thank you very much, Sam! This most definitely worked. This helped me in a very critical moment. I truly appreciate your videos. In my case, what was stuck were the fibers from soy bean outer shells. Like hair over a shower drain, it prevented water from flowing through smoothly, although, with time, the backed up water in the sink did fall.

I have fixed drains before. But I was really not looking forward to doing it. To refresh my mind, I watched your video. Five minutes later the clog was out and I tightened it back up and had a nice lunch! Thanks for a terrific video!!

First time home owner here. Female, 31. I got home after a LONG day of work and at 9pm when I finally decided to cook dinner (roasted vegetables) my disposal clogged!! LAST thing I needed. In no way shape or form am I a handyman with anything around the house. So when the sink clogged today and the garbage disposal didn't clear it, I knew I was in trouble. I came into my office to get the number of a plumber I used awhile back, and thought, why not look at RU-vid to see if it shows how to fix the problem. I'm a retired woman living in a HUD unit in CA with management tactics that are too shady to mention here for fear of retaliation. So this is about the 5th place on and off You Tube for help with a double clog to no avail!!! I certainly no better than to put certain things down a drain, and the things that can cause this nightmare are often not what you'd think. Also we are not allowed to use the usual drain cleaners like Draino, with the warning they could damage the PVC piping, and the tenants are held liable; the hack I tried about an hour ago seemed like it was a go, but after this "easy, 3 step process", I not only have a clogged DISPOSAL, but SINK as well. Full of boiling hot, greasy waste water......thanks for doing this and I welcome any ideas anyone has!

THANK YOU! I have metal pipes so I unscrewed them, dumped the water, took a wire hanger & dug through each pipe. I was able to clear it out & put pipes back together w/o calling anyone just watching your straight to the point video. God bless you!

THANK YOU for your video. I had done all the things to the garbage disposal and cleared the horizontal drain but didn't do anything with the P trap. I didn't think it was affected. WRONG! Kiddos had dropped a chopstick on the straight side and then when I used the disposal side, it trapped everything in the P trap section. So again, THANK YOU for the video. It saved me $85 and having to wait over the weekend for the plumber to come out.
