@missy marie OK I'll buy that. I love Alanis too. What a great songwriter and live performer! I don't know as much about the social impact, but I judge the great ones by how they pull it off live. Alanis is right there with Garbage in that sense. I love strong intelligent women. I find them to be intoxicating. I am married to one..... Live would be empty otherwise.
Lets hope they come back soon. I had so many damn chances to see them when i lived in california for 20 years. I dont like huge crowds. The mass of people just freak me out. I found that out when i went to the 1995 or 1996 Lollapalooza at the shoreline amphitheater.. I swore neer again. Not going to die with the regret of not seeing my freakin favorite band. I will get over my anxiety of huge crowds even if i have to take pills. I will see them.
Yep they are a superb band - them and Suede have to be two of the best. The London venues where I saw them were 1) small (and supported by Queenadreena) 2) Not big, an ex cinema. Have actually been to WPB a few times to see a buddy, but that was ages ago now. Yes, I get freaked by big crowds - not to the extent of needing pills, but not comfortable.
Coming up on 30 years old now, this song. Still rockin the house. This was also released on the playstation one game, gran turismo. That is how old this tune is. Two bands i want to se before i die. Garbage and Alice in Chains. Not a fat chance seeing garbage as they dont come to the UK all that often. I have a better chance with Alice in Chains.
