Anytime I’m looking for reviews and comparisons of certain smartwatches, your videos cover exactly what I’m looking for! Also appreciated you showing us the different watch faces (haven’t seen another video that showed this). Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much for your review! I was looking for an in-depth female opinion to help in my decision making process. Bonus, you are a POC, so I got a preview of how the lighter colored band would look on my darker skin tone. I tend to go for black bands so that they don’t stand out, but this model doesn’t come in black for silicone. Keep up the great work 😀
love the camera and lighting quality in this video its amazing seeing how far your channel has come and im excited to see it blow up even more. also thank you for the very informative video :)
Thanks for posting a detailed review. I actually like that the band requires a bit more effort to change out. This means it's more secure than the spring watch-pin which can pop out pretty easily when you're being active. And, come on, it's really not that difficult; it's way easier than having to use one of those tiny screwdrivers. I think we women can handle it.
It's not too hard to do but, I definitely find it time consuming and annoying 😅 (I prefer quick release watch bands haven't had issues with them so far, and agreed the screwdriver ones can be a real pain to change). And I'm glad you enjoyed the detail in my review Michelle!
That find my watch feature is intriguing. I'd like to see a demo that dives a bit deeper into that and into the activity tracker in use, if you would like. I did read a review that said it turns it's activity tracking off mid-activity and then resists resuming, so I'd like to see the rubber hit the road.
Hi hovawart16, I'll definitely consider doing a find my phone video! And I haven't experienced any issues with the activity tracking or any other function stopping randomly when using the Lily.
Whenever I see a apple watch I get intimidated, this watch seems rather tech friendly which I might be interested in for the first time. Would you recommend it overall?
Hi chempanda! Yes I would. If your looking at getting a Garmin watch I think the Garmin Lily is a great tech friendly option. Alternatively, the Fitbit Luxe is also a nice tech friendly option! I'm not sure which operating system or design you would prefer so you can see my Fitbit Luxe review here ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tfC-CE7E45Q.html ) which may help you decide which watch/tracker would work best for you :)
I’ve been looking everywhere for a side by side comparison of the lily with the vivoactive 4s. Thank you so much!! I prefer the vivoactive 4s but my wrist is 5.25 inches. I guess that’s too bulky? Anyway I love your videos!
The Vivoactive 4S can definitely fit your 5.25" wrist, I don't think it would be bulky but that is definitely a personal preference. My wrist is 7" for reference. And thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! I wanted to know more about this watch but could not find that many info online until I got to this video! You are amazing at your review ❤️
I've been looking for a new watch for my wife as her Galaxy watch finally gave up the ghost. As a heavy Garmin Fenix user (5 through 7 now) I've been advocating for moving from Samsung to Garmin. This was a great video. Gave all the most relevant info, simply and clearly. Will check you vids on the Vivo and Venu. Thank you.
@@AbbyBReviewing She just watched your Vivoactive 4s vs Venu 2 and is really keen on the Venu 2. I can give you a full breakdown on each Fenix model including which model is best for any specific user/use case, but not too focused on models outside the Fenix range. I still think the Fenix 6S Solar or 7S Solar are better watches, but they're definitely not really her style 😁 Thanks for the great vids and good comparisons showing the strengths and weaknesses of the different watches.
@@henryvandeventer2457 I agree the features on the Fenix series watches are definitely better but, they are bigger, a little heavier and not as feminine or "pretty" looking as the Venu 2S. I'm finding a lot of women are willing to give up those extra features like maps to get a smaller sleeker watch with an AMOLED display. And no problem, thanks for watching my videos and if you end up buying it I hope your wife enjoys her new Venu 2 watch 😊
My husband bought me the Lily sport edition and it is so woefully inaccurate I am very unhappy with it, I just sent it back with a heavy heart because it was a presenr😢
Hi, I have a Lily and thinking of upgrading to the Venu 2S - I've seen some feature comparisons but wondering how would you personally rate/compare them? Thank you!
Hi Anneliese Mak, I actually am working on a Venu 2S vs Lily comparison video which will be dropping soon, so stay tuned! And make sure you have your post notifications on so you don't miss that video :)
Thanks so much for thia review! I juat bought the Style in the light gold and pink nylon and my hsuband and i both agreed it didnt look gold AT all.... I really want the luxe but its been out for 3 years, is permanently out of stock unless you custom order and seems auper overpriced for what it is, that im considering this one instead. Would you say the color looks more yellow gold? Their cream and light gold just isnt gold enough for me as a yellow gold fan and wedding ring and jewelry wearer and im havign such a hard time finding a watch to get!
Hi Sarah, I haven't seen Garmin do a traditional yellow gold in a long time. One I can recall is the Garmin Venu (came in a black watch/ gold bezel option) a few years back. The Lily I have here is not a true yellow gold colour, it's more a light rose gold with a slight yellow tint.
@@AbbyBReviewing thank you! I'm just trying to find something I can wear with all my yellow gold jewelry that's not rose gold! Everything is all rose gold these days and the style in light gold was almost gray looking! Back to the drawing board the luxe is out of stock and I'm between the Trend in peach gold or something completely different. Thanks again for the response!!
Hi, can you use it without bluetooth, and then at the end of the day turn it on to get data? I don't want to have bluetooth near my body all day. Thanks!
Thank you Abby for the review. The only thing you didn't show was how the notifications show and how easy is it to read in the daylight? Can you please let us know? Thank you ;)
Hi Heidi! Your selected notifications will pop up whenever the Lily is connected to your phone and a notification comes through (I personally turn off my notifications to help save battery). And the display is fairly easy to read in the sunlight, a picture of the Garmin Lily's display in sunlight is on my Instagram check it out if your interested, my Instagram link is in the description 😊
Hello, it does differ depending on the Fitbit. I've done reviews on many Fitbits, you can find my Fitbit video playist here if your interested :) ru-vid.com/group/PLj1R-thNvAXeWjRKSQ5soUNL6B3okXsue
Hey Abby! I was watching one of your backpack reviews and I was wondering what would be the best for everyday use for school! For reference I use a 2” inch 3 ring binder and 1 textbook… on top of that I also have lunch but it’s only like one Tupperware so it’s fine haha and a pencil case. What bag would you recommend for this? (I feel like the everyday 2.0 is perfect for my needs but I also like the look of the pack it up backpack even though the volume is only 21L compared to the everyday 2.0 which is 23L. ) Thanks in advance!!! :)
Hi Alec! I think the Everyday Backpack would work better for your needs, the extra capacity, and more padded straps will definitely come in handy for school :)
@@AbbyBReviewing thank you so much!! Your reviews helped a ton! And the way you formatted everything down to the time stamps was great! Thanks again :)
@@deepshikhakarki7208 No problem! And you cannot talk on it as there is no built in mic. Yes it works with the iPhone 13 Pro Max however there are some limitations for example, you cannot send or receive text messages with an iPhone that function is compatible with Andriod phones only.
I've heard that the raise to wake feature is not that great, where twisting your wrist up will not always display the screen. Have you had any issues with this?
Hi Claire! They are similar in terms of what they can do, both track your basic workouts (ex. run, walk cardio) your fitness metrics (ex. steps, heart rate, sleep). Some key differences are design, display size, colour display vs monochrome and the operating systems. I've also reviewed the Fitbit Luxe check it out below if your interested -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tfC-CE7E45Q.html
@@felicitykeating2496 Hi Felicity, in my experience WhatsApp notifications have worked fine, I don't have Viber but you should be able to see all smartphone notifications you allow (you customize which apps can send you notifications in the Garmin Connect App).
