Thank you for this video! It was a welcome sight when I was notified by YT. Interesting my Livescope was already install by a Marine dealer in Texas and they used zip ties. I will leave those off when I install the mount. When I receive mine I will be referring to this video again snd again. THANKS!

Awesome video Josh as always! FYI the two bolts included with the mount are “shoulder bolts” you can crank them all the way down and the shoulder will bottom out preventing it from stripping out...

That was an excellent video. Russel I have a LiveScope with my echo map plus and us an independent mount for the transducer. Would the instillation be a lot different than the one that is in the video? thanks in advance.

This is an excellent video! I have a question....when the transducer is in perspective mode it is pointing directly down at the lower unit and prop of the trolling motor so how does that not directly block the beam? Or am I understanding what i see in perspective mode wrongly?

Good video Josh. Question though. I’ve just ordered my mount and will be installing on a Fortrex shaft. Most of the videos are on the Garmin Force or the Ultrex. I know that I also have a 360 pod as well to include the hydrowave as well that will need to be relocated. Any video of the install into the bow and with some type of cover would be awesome. I’ve contacted Garmin, and they told me that they don’t have any cable management system as my birds do...thanks

Thanks for the video. I had a couple of questions based on perspective mode on a hobie kayak. I have the garmin panotics livescope and also have the perspective mode mount. On the left side a my kayak I have a livescope transducer mount. Is there a correct way that this is supposed to be mounted seeing that it is not on the front trolling motor. I have a torqueedo trolling motor on the back of the hobie kayak. Thanks for any information or youtube video that could point me in the right direction.

Great Videos 👍 I’m looking to upgrade my Bass Tracker electronics from my EchoMap Plus 73SV to the Garmin 734 and a 9 inch UHD2 chart. ? Or will the 734 Transducer do all these scans? ? In either case, i was planning to put the Transducers on my TM shaft. Is that a good idea? I’d appreciate your advice experience. Thanks, Red

You say in the vid to make position changes to the transducer while it is up. When it is stowed you cant see the decal, it is on the side looking down. my first time out I had it out of position and the scope was looking backwards under the boat. Did you know it would do this? Might be helpful in some situations.

I hook my bracket up just if you have shown and it’s a mess can’t find my Lure most of the time, and the last time I went out would not even go in to foward range and it looks way out of line when it is in forward range.? Some advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. Lloyd

Question, mine is set up starboard mount but when in forward mode/position the side of the transducer is not parallel to the motor shaft. Seems like this would make it aim a little off?

My ridge/ groove is on the back side of my trolling motor do I need to inverse the indexed side of the bracket

Does the perspective mount have an offset of 8 degrees for the trolling motor? Can it be corrected to zero degrees offset for use on a standalone pole?

After putting in forward mode do u have to bring it down every time u chose mode?

This mount gives me a great view of the bottom structure in 8-9 feet of water. But I do a lot of dock fishing in 2-5 feet of water and all I see are hot spots close to the boat since it's angled down so much. Is there any way to angle the transducer up a little bit more so I can get a good image in shallower water?

How do you decide the distance to place the mount above the motor? It looks like you placed it about 6" above.

can the transducer be easily removed for when your fishing weedy shallow areas???

I can't mount mine on the trolling motor shaft because of the way it stows (Terrova).I have the perspective mount and I mounted it on a separate pole and was wondering if I need to adjust the mount on the shaft. It shoots of t the right, starboard mount. I guess its that way to get around the lower part of the trolling motor but I don't have that issue with the separate pole. Thanks

Great job Josh. I just finished a full Garmin system install on my boat including the Force, Livescope with Perspective and 3 Echomap Ultra units. This video along with your others on the Garmin equipment made the installs much easier. Garmin's instructions are pretty good but being able to take my tablet out to the boat and watch your vids while I was doing the installations was invaulable! One question I have: What is the preferred wire routing path/method once the Livescope wiring is at the head of the Force and the service loop is there? Do you prefer to just tape the wiring to the power and data cables from the trolling motor following the same path (outside the "tunnel" of course)? Thanks again, great job and keep 'em coming!

Is there a mount where I can easily flip the forward mode to face under the boat?

thanks so much. When I am in forward mode now the xducer is at 88 degrees and not 90 degrees and when in perspective mode it is not completely parallel to the ground. I would say in perspective mode it is 3 degrees off of being parallel to the ground. When looking closely at the install from front does it look that way to you as well?

Do you need to do perspective mode?

nice video and I used it to install mine. I used it yesterday and the transducer is mounted backwards. The back of transducer is where the wires come out so it is looking towards the back of the boat installed this way.

Hi there, I just got my garmin panoptix livescope perspective mount. I'm not going to mount my garmin panoptix livescope on the trolling, I'm mounting on a side of the boat. My question is the kit comes with 2 shaft bracket, which shaft bracket should I use?

Josh - I don't like the bend radius on the cable when mounted in Starboard orientation and set to Perspective mode... the cable has to take an almost immediate 90 degree turn because there's little/no room between the transducer and the shaft of the Force trolling motor. I hope you realized you mounted the transducer backwards.

I'm surprised there isn't an electronic one that automatically detects what mode you're in and moves it into the right position. Be wayyy more convenient
