I could watch Garry Tonon grapple all day long.

This is some really nice stand-up grappling! A mix of freestyle, greco-roman, and even judo techniques, really fun style to watch.

If all grappling matches were like that it would be much more popular! Luv the DDS guys always looking for the sub. Just like a combat sport should be and not minutes of stalling...

Tonan is definitely a wrestler first and foremost. His childhood wrestling background is shining through. Such fluency in those movements, it's hard to replicate when learning at an older age.

that was a great example of bjj guys adapting wrestling for bjj - far more fluid that a traditional wrestling match, with the use of submissions and so on. I know they wouldnt last 10 seconds against jordan burroughs, im just saying that was fun to watch even thought was a stand up match. Most bjj guys are not very good with takedowns or scrambles onf the feet.
