Yeah ,Gary Booker is one of those voices that are unmistakable and hopefully he will be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so we always have recordings of his hits 😊❤😂😊❤😊❤😊
1 hr ago. Oh for sure! In fact I just sent an email to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame to express that very thing and told them to please highly reconsider and nominate them! I feel they should have been in years ago! Sadly, now with Gary Brookers passing, none of the original group is left, but fans would be ecstatic if they finally received that honor! So fingers crossed! ♥️
Gary Brooker! Fiatalkorától élete végéig, míg szinpadon énekelt, mindig szuper előadó volt. Hangja gyémánt. Imádnivaló, édes, páratlan előadó volt. 😢 Sírok hiányától!!❤❤❤❤
He has performed that song thousands of times and his voice has never changed one bit right up to the time he passed. He also sang it exactly the same as the first recording. A fantastic man and his piano. RIP Gary Brooker. You are not forgotten! 💜❤️👏🏼
Agreed. it got even richer and fuller. This link version from Denmark kills me it's my favorite other than the original studio. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-St6jyEFe5WM.html
the latter versions were better ESPECIALLY the musical festival’s in Denmark That was the ultimate performance in his latter years… What a performer together with his piano🥂❗️ 👊🔥 🪖
When this beautiful song was first released in '67 it stayed no 1 for 6 weeks in the summer of 67. Credit goes to Brooker,Reid and Fisher. BJ wasn't on the original buthe was a dream drummer, a joy to hear and watch. RIP Gary nd BJ .
I worked night crew at a local supermarket in 1967. The radio played about 8 songs repeated all night. "A Whiter Shade of Pale" was one of them. I loved it in 1967 and love it to this day. A timeless classic. Such an underrated group that far excels many of the performers in the R&R Hall of Fame.
And RIP BJ. A phenomenally talented drummer who never had the attention he deserved. John Bonham only became Led Zeppelin's drummer because BJ Wilson turned it down to stay with Procol Harum. Died much too young.
Such a great artist and musician, his voice does not change with age - thank you Gary Brooker and Procol Harum for the lovely brilliant music. RIP Gary.
Sometimes perfection comes along and life unwittingly gets in the way of it's acceptance . This song and it's performance are magnificent. I am an old man now, but this song won't ever age.
