We were so lucky to hear him play all the time in Austin when he was a stripped down raw guitarist with a simple four piece band…he will be one of Austin’s all time best ❤
It revitalizes my faith in natural born rhythm like Hendrix, BB King, Joplin and Cat Stevens. Those who aren't held by Rules standards and the accepted norms. 🙃👍👍🎱's

I actually get annoyed when someone asks me who I listen to and they never heard of Gary Clark Jr. I have had the privilege of discovering him during the crossroads tour… Saw him at Musikfest in Bethlehem Pennsylvania in 2018 and at the Stone Pony’s summer stage with another great “Michael Kiwanuka” in 2016.. Best concert I’ve ever attended… So grateful as a fan to see Gary finally getting what he’s earned.. 🙏🏼☮️
Rock Video 101. When the othere guitar player is soloing, camera's point of view has to show that player. Otherwise nice video of a great act. That I have seen a few times.
@@matthewosburn I don't see what SRV has to do with it... At least in this concert, Gary Clark Jr doesn't have much to do with SRV. he's got his own sound and a hell of a pair of hands, with a world of his own. and he's very talented.
@@matthewosburnTell that to the rap industry This man can play an instrument and sing. He also got his own style that is not SRV. There were ton of players before SRV that SRV borrowed alot from. Read a book, watch some videos man
At least you could have added the name of the songs to complete the video and you will earn another like even though we already know the names of each song.
Bass sounds excellent through that Ampeg SVT. Is there a keyboardist now?...off to Garys right?..sounds like it at times...Anyway, these guys are doing blues, but in an original fresh way....oh I was right...camera finally panned over...Hammond is deep and great for this bands sound.
Great live performance by the whole band. Zapata and Clark play and balance each other so well. Thanks so much for posting this. Haven't gotten a chance to see them live yet. But...not dead yet either.
I just found him because he was on Joe Rogan. I'm ashamed that I love this music and have never paid attention obviously. Best part is I have YEAR'S of music of his to go through.
Saw his Glastonbury show, not live sadly, and I was blown away. What a talent, he and his band put on a scintillating performance. I agree, he should be more popular but it is what it is.
I have never seen him live but I have seen a number of concerts on screen and he never disappoints. Hope he comes to western Canada so I can see him live.
Gary's music is like always reminding me of a rockstar whos music would be all over the cassettes and records and one would love to collect all the album cassettes, like the real old skool good old days :) maybe its just me, but i kinda like it though😌
caught him live in Budapest whilst in vacation for 3 days there and I was like whaaaaaat , got VIP tickets and what a concert!!!!!! My favorite musician outhere, going to work every day play all these songs and is so uplifting, this man is crack! A musician here, by the way!
Saw him in Ithaca NA at a smallish theater, having NO idea who he was. Holy crap, I was quite literally blown away. Best musical surprise I've had in many decades.
Gary Clark, Jr. ladies and gentlemen! Yes. In true form. Does not get better than the soulful dynamics of live guitar with turned up amplifiers. Can't wait to see live and meet Bro. Clark, Zapata and the band.
SO wholesome and SO good. I've been following for 8+ years. GC evokes a bit of all his own influences. BB, AC, GM, RG, Luther. Allison, I can't even imagine.....
He has a number of Grammys, featured in more than two movies. Has some amazing soundtracks to movies. He's hot but still making amazing moves. This singing sexy baby is only 38 years old this year in February. I love him. He makes me so super proud❤❤
Gary is easily one of the most talented musicians out there these days he should be so much more popular - but the world has gone completely insane so it totally makes sense as to why he’s not as popular as he should be…
Hey, hey, garyclarkjr🎉 old head fan in this place. The man is hot as ever. He's sounding amazing and huh loving those threads He's wearing. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤❤❤
Saw him in 2019 in Australia and was very unimpressed, he just didn't seem to know how to pace a show. He started off with a blistering number .....then everything else was slow, slow slow , no climax to his show at all. He actually went out of his way to destroy his own show, hopefully hes in a better space now. He sounds much better here.
90% of the time you see a 3 piece band, but there is a keyboarder left and a second guitarist on the right. 25:17 Even when they play a solo you can't see them. Bad Camerawork. Better watch and enjoy the concert next time without holding one hour this phone above your head. The people behind you will be thankful either.
Trying to enjoy what appears to be a great concert only to be interrupted by adds! Who places an add in the middle of a track or 1 second before the end of one? Save the adds till the end of a track or the end of the concert!
Can't believe I've been sleeping on this guy for so long... What an incredible artist. Love the sneak peak into what is now his new song 'Habits' at 56:00
