Gary Clark Jr. is my absolute favorite. I too love Catfish Blues. He's Hendricks/BB King, he's just the best - can't get enough of him. Saw him play 3 O'Clock Blues at the Stones concert last may as a tribute to B.B. and he was absolutely fabulous. Saw him for the 2nd time at the Bridge School Concert last weekend and he was the best. And of course here at the Russian River. Oakland in December....can't wait.

I watched Gary grow from a kid playing around town into this amazing artist. I feel like I discovered him myself. I sometimes get possessive and feel like my secret is out when others finally discover the amazing musicians that I love and follow but I am so glad the world has been able to enjoy his awesomeness with me. I knew he'd make it big and I am so proud of him.

Im very new to blues and I mean gary clark jr is the only real blues musician i have paid much attention to lately (i will listen to more hopefully very soon) but this performance beats many things i have seen from other artist, true mastery of this instrument and the bright lights performance was absolutely amazing my fav section of the set hands down 10/10 for this, sincerely a newbie blues fan haha

I love how he walks you slow and easy into the first song and then let's it rip. If he was singing Red House and I had my eyes closed I might think we was Jimi. The style is different but the intensity is the same. The love song is straight out of the 50's.. He's got an impressive vocal range.
