The Q&A provided enormous value to those asking the questions. The ability to answer with such content is an unreal asset to have. Thanks Gary.

You have a THANK YOU DEPARTMENT. It’s offense instead of customer service defense. I’m sitting here dumbstruck on pause at 25:47 I’m also stealing that idea for my company. Thank you very much!

Can we just take a second and discuss as a community the off the cuff strategy he just gave that woman at the end about providing value through retention for an organization? That was great! I'm not blowing smoke at you Gary I'm actually admiring that action and how awesome in the moment, top of the head thinking you have. I mean really! Speed and precision! Anyone have other opinions or want to discuss?

on top of what #AskMarcT said, I appreciated how he thought his process out loud (and yes, he was quick!)

Great info Gary V. On the opposite of what I thought sales was made of. Which was very transactional... Very short term.. And land the deal. But Gary is focusing on playing the game of patience and marathon play to fine tune your sales strategy.

6:69 right ON! that's IS the reason for Attention shift - the Speed of Electric Technology - now a seamless electrical environment where consumers are those who's attention you can literally hold. It's a viscous acoustic feedback loop, where Incongruence with ground reality creates echo chambers... There are a ton of effects crested by digital technology altering the human perception, starting with ATTENTION.

The dude with the headphones who just bought his "dream house" has no idea of the concept of value giving and taking with his long ass waste of time irrelevant question. Just looking to get some validation from Gary without asking a question that might be of some value to the rest of the room. Sorry about the rant, it annoyed me.

Some people are just outwardly cocky or have that type of persona. It's not a bad thing. It's just who they are. Behind the scenes though he seems to be giving back to the world in a unique way. In a way he has earned that right I guess.

He was making 30K selling baseball cards when he was 12 - 13, and then at 14 he was working for $2 per hour. Now he's plain full of shit. lmao

VIDFIO 1000 employees at 30k a year each plus an extra 5 k a head for annual NI contributions etc (this may be a UK thing but I am sure there are extra costs in every country) is 35mill. this leaves 65mill....and let's assume some are paid a little more than that and add 5 mill...that leaves 60mill. I won't pretend to know the running costs of a business of that scale but would it be more than 65mill?? I am not coming for you BTW, I am genuinely curious about your p.o.v on this...
@vidfio4602
@vidfio4602 7 лет назад
Selene Miller believe me, I would be damn curious about the profits, I can't see how they make a profit so that makes me curious. gary is a cool intelligent guy I actually like him but he contradicts himself way too much plus bu the way the average salary at vayner is 65K I think he said plus tax. imagine that maybe he makes 4 mil profit?
@ginar7187

You obviously have read or watched this video ALONE... his father MADE him work the family business for $2 an hour... oh, and by the way, he built up that business for his family... it is not his business. Then, his current business , Vayner Media is a $120 Million a year biz with 800 employees in which he built from zero dollars in less than 8 years.. you need to do your homework before you assume you know something

He said he made 2-3 thousand on a weekend in the mall. If you know anything remotely to baseball trading cards you would know that it was possible. In this day and age you couldn’t only because of the tech.

Thats because he is not and never will be Fancy. His points are valid whether he wears a £5000 suit or jeans and a baggy jumper.
