Awesome build and review mate, just got my 700 from suttos and loving it! Are you still running factory tubless setup or HD tube's with a rim lock? Cheers Mick
How do they go out in the rough bush bashing, where you'd normally have an enduro? (Slower and technical) Is it hard to keep the front down on a hill climb? My 300 Rally does everything with ease, except provide the excitement of quick acceleration 😅 I went to the GasGas shop today in Maitland, but they don't have any demos ...
I've ridden the 300 rally and your right they don't have that wow factor , the 700 has that wow and feels lighter , the engine is very tractable so you can let it get right down in the revs and it will pull away , I havnt come close to flipping it on any hill climb
@@chasing_the_dog3277 thanks for the feedback. The 300 Rally are still a great bike that are nice and comfy on the open road, I'm just window shopping for now. I just miss the R6 and R1 road bike thrills sometimes ha.
@@chasing_the_dog3277 That's impressive for a big single ridden mostly in dirt! Got an ES700 here in the UK myself, and I've been watching what you do with interest. Only 160 miles on mine so far!
"Tire life" is directly in the throttle hand of the user. Even a 35HP DR650 kills a rear in under 2000 miles easily if you spin it up all the time. Its only money.
