Gas Post Driver Did Not Work In Gravel soil, I tried it in an area that is not as rocky and it worked fine. I used a post hole auger on my tractor to get the t posts in.
I've worked on a golf course, using one almost identical to install out of bounds posts. They were cut from 2 1/2" lodge poles sold at garden stores. I found that it was more productive to run the machine at half speed. You want to hammer the post, not tickle it!
