Thought I would update… I have put 3000 miles on the Gates replacement belt and it’s still going. I did replace both the Primary and Secondary clutch (at different times). The secondary had a worn shaft that might have contributed to belt failure. The primary had lost a spacer on the pin where the buttons are. I also ordered the EBSless helix in the new secondary (HunterWorks) and it made a HUGE difference in deceleration. No more jerking when coming to a stop. The new primary (BHarvey) included the limiting washer to prevent over travel.
Sent Gates belt in for 1 year warranty. Gates charged $15 for shipping/handling. Took a couple weeks and it just arrived. Glad to see Gates stood behind their product!
