This is literally the most pure forms of vaporwave, your songs are so unique and special that it is not just vaporwave. Some songs are so pure that they feel like the are out of this world made by some thing bigger then us
I absolutely agree, vaporwave says something about life. That nostalgia everyone gets? That’s nostalgia for this life, it makes you look at your life in a different way, makes you appreciate the small things. I don’t really know how, but it does
I was listening to this album while I was painting and my cat came and sat in my lap the whole time, watching me create and jamming with me. Thank u for that memory.
I think it's pretty dope that there are so many different languages being spoken in the comments. The music transcends language and culture, and that's pretty cool.
Your music got me through one of the most difficult times in my life, i know it can sound silly to say that a few albums saved me, but they did, and i can't tank you enough for that.
Reminds me of my younger brother Gabo, and of playing digimon on my ds when I was a kid. I've been listening to this album since it was posted, but I've never thanked you for the magic before.
Teu talento é enorme, te desejo todo sucesso do mundo. Obrigado por continuar fazendo novos álbuns. Eu agradeço de coração.
I think that he is the first artist that make songs with vaporwave and synthwave influences, it would be like a "Synth Vaporwave" or a "Vaporsynthwave" genre. Cheers from Brazil!
these tunes will surely stick with me for a while (have been recommending to friends as well😀). this music gives me a peculiar nostalgic feeling.. as if trying to recall a memory (or future) that never existed at all. or if that's a bit too exaggerating... i listened to this and felt that all my thoughts halted. there isn't any joy or pain in here, just something nudging me gently, reminding me i'm (maybe) already home (perhaps).
Your albums have gotten me through my mundane office work days for over a year now. I subscribed not realizing there'd be more music!!! So thrilled, thank you so much.
every single album windows96 releases manages to surpass the previous one i can't get over any of them, they're all so unique and you can tell gabriel has put his heart and soul into them. thank u once again gabriel ♥️
A person will only critisize a artist if he/she is already popular, if someone doesnt like the music they will move on, if they do they will suggest to others.
Se alguém ficasse preso num videogame da 5ª geração, isso seria o seu oásis musical. Provavelmente um Atari Jaguar. If someone got trapped in a 5th gen videogame it would be its musical oasis. Perhaps a Atari Jaguar.
Your songs are so damn freaking good... I can't believe I played this on the car with my dad and even he liked it lmao (He's really into 80s synth and "nintendo quirky songs" lol)
This comment made me smile a lot because music is the best and most consistent thing my dad and I ever shared. He passed away in 2012 but I like to believe he would've LOVED this artist (knowing him and his eclectic tastes) probably as enthusiastically as I do.
as a producer im always impressed how much work you seem to put into each song, each part, so simple but so many dynamics. also your ability to turn almost corny sounds and progressions into something so much more serious and satisfying. makes me feel like i have to keep up.
THIS ALBUM IS SICK, GAVRIEL. WELL DONE, MAN. You CONSISTENTLY make such good music. EVERY song on EVERY album... absolutely fantastic. You're gonna make it big one of these days, I guarantee it, and if you don't then we know God is not one to be worshiped.
Nothing makes me feel like this album does. I’m in love with your sound, your voice. It’s like you know exactly what I’m going through in life, and you’re telling me all I have to do is go through it, nothing more. It’s so soothing. I need it. I’d be worse without it. You’re making the world a better place. Thank you.
I love windows 96 so much, I can already tell this is going to be a new favourite. I bought Plume Valley on vinyl even though I don't have a record player because it's one of my favourite pieces of music I've ever heard, and I can't wait for the day I get to actually play it!! thank you windows 96 :)
You know, you listen to something and think it's amazing and then you come back later and realize it is something else. This is in another Ocean of its own, well, the artist that is.. Is it o.k. to say this artist is painfully good?
32k is so dreamy. On an album full of favorites, that one takes the cake. I've been listening to this every day since I first heard it. Thank you for making music.
Star Level II giving me chills, but god damn you don't make a bad track or album. I always get David Wise vibes when listening to your tracks. Thanks for your art
man i always enjoy your art, it takes me to new places in my mind that i didn´t even know existed my favorite album is one hundred mornings you're a genius
there's something strange to your music. the first time you hear it, it sounds alright. but then you listen to it again, and it sounds better. and you keep listening, and you realize just how good it is... I've listened to this at least 10 times now
Couldn't agree more! After the first few times listening I start hearing all the details and appreciate it a lot more. I rank this album top 3 imo: Glass Prism > Reflections > In the Worlde.
I know exactly what you are talking about, I have the exact same experience, to where with each successive listen, I end up digging the music even more and finding little things that on first listen, I didn't notice. Only a skilled artist can achieve this effect, to be sure. Cheers
I'm like this with alot of vaporwave albums. First listen is always like, 'this is nice, different and catchy' 50th listen and it feels like coming home
