This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed Full Armor Hyaku Shiki Kai on Gundam Battle Operation 2. I it is a 650-700 cost support with advantages such as two chainable instant staggers with great damage, amazing stun accumulation, high durability, a chest I-Field skill and being much smaller than the typical 650-700 cost support. Its disadvantages would be that it is kind of slow and that the overheat times for the weapons are punishing unless you build auxiliary generators to compensate. I thought that this was a pretty decent suit for 650 cost despite powercreep, but this buff has fixed a lot. Heat rates are down for both the beam rifle and back beam cannons along with increased back beam cannons stagger value, decreased back beam cannons rigidity and a parts slots buff for the 700 cost version. I think it is a strong suit for both 650-700 cost now thanks to this tune up. This first match was a loss despite how high my damage was which was a little disappointing, but I hope that you still enjoy watching!
Its primary ranged weapon at LV2 is a long beam rifle with 2700 (3675) power, 65% (85%) heat, 3 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 455m (505m) range, 4.5 seconds focus time and 30% (60%) stagger value. This doesn't instant stagger uncharged but charged shots have very high power alongside good stun accumulation. This serves as a powerful combo starter before using your other weapons.
Its primary melee weapon is a beam saber with 2640 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This has alright power but the suit lacks balancers, so using it is going to be rare.
Its first sub weapon is a missile pod with 300x2 power, 16 ammo, 360 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 450m range, 10%x2 stagger value and 3600 DPS. This has very high damage burst damage but the total sustained damage is lesser than similar weapons for other supports. You can use this when you see an ally knock over an enemy or when your other weapons are overheating.
Its second sub weapon is a chest beam cannon with 1020 power, 50% heat, 360 RPM, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 35% stagger value. This has high damage if overheated, good accumulation and can be fired while boosting. It is versatile in that it can be used to dump damage or to accumulate against incoming enemies. It is the best combo ender after a beam cannons shot.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of back beam cannons with 1550x2 power, 85% heat, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 500m range and 35%x2 stagger value. This needs to stop to fire and has punishing overheating time but has amazing power and stun ability. Following up on a charged beam rifle shot with this can produce really high burst damage.
The LV2 FA Hyaku Shiki has 21500 HP, 34 ballistic/beam resist and 30 melee resist. The HP value is a little low relative to some other supports but this is made up for by the very high base defensive stats along with great defensive skills. It has a chest I-Field which reduces damage taken by 50% and blocks instant staggers when shot by beams in the chest area. It also has a 30% reduction buffer for the back and 15% reduction buffer for the shoulders. The I-Field has a pretty small hitbox but it can still be pretty useful, while the buffers will protect you a little bit still if they miss the I-Field. If you are being shot by a beam above the legs, then it is basically certain to either hit the I-Field, back buffer or shoulders buffer.
It also has 120 walking speed, 190 boost speed, 65 thrust and 66 turning speed. The turning speed is pretty nice but the other stats are definitely a bit mediocre. It has LV1 Forced Injectors which means it isn't at the complete bottom of the pile for 650-700 supports in terms of mobility.
Overall I think that the FA Hyaku Shiki has reclaimed its original position as one of the strongest 650 cost supports. I don't think it is beating out the borderline overpowered ReZEL Defencer C Type, and it still is competing with many strong 650 cost natives and LV2 600 costers. But I think that it might be the second strongest LV1 650 cost support because of these buffs. It is much easier to hit the full combo now thanks to the reduced rigidity for the cannons and the time between combos is reduced thanks to the heat rate buffs. It certainly doesn't have higher shooting output than Dag Doll or Kshatriya if you play the 700 cost version, but I think it has a bit of a niche for 700 cost thanks to being tiny in comparison to those two while still offering good firepower. The suit has a pretty high rank requirement to be purchased in the DP shop, but if you get it from RT or from a free spin then I can certainly recommend it. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
