Vuelta a España 2023 stage 3 highlights. A 158.5km mountainous stage from Súria to Arinsal, Andorra (8.3km at 7.7%) for the first summit finish of the race. There are also bonus seconds on the Coll d'Ordino (17.3km at 7.7%) which peaks with 21.4km to go.

It was a barrier right behind the woman he crashed into. I'm glad he didn't go into the barrier that could have resulted in a broken collarbone minimum. Still sucks the way the finish was set up - i guess they didnt predict such a fast finish....

Well, look at the footage from Eurosport, they cleared a lot of space, the crash happened what… 150m after the line? journalists where just in front of the barriers. Other riders didn’t have any trouble. I truly wonder what Evenepoel was doing.

Jumbo was very defensive today, Jonas said he had a bad day but sounded annoyed.. a little angry perhaps.. don’t know if he was mad about not feeling good or he was held back because Roglic was not on top cause of crash yesterday…

Jonas always looks annoyed. Even the few times he's actually smiled; it looks painful. He is his own man and a good rider (obviously) but he makes it hard to be a fan because of his personality. I doubt he cares what some random guy (me) thinks about his sour facial expressions. 😊😂

IMO the incident after the finish is a combination of the organisers not securing the area properly and Remco not paying attention. They should have made more room for the riders and Remco could have breaked in time.

BIG TACTICAL MISTAKE BY REMCO. Have nobody watched the last 3 Tour de France. Remco should have attacked much earlier. Jonas looked like he was struggling. And confirmed this afterwards in an interview with danish media.Jonas has to be beaten in the 1st week of a grand tour. He will only get better and better. If the tour has taught us anything. It is that Jonas will be better and better the longer and harder a Grand tour gets. Why the GC guys and especially Remco did not try earlier I don't understand. (Ayuso tried. Cadeau to him. Exiting rider)Jonas has not had the best preparations for the Vuelta and is probably a kilo or 2 heavier than the last week of the tour right now. So if they want to take time on him it's now. By the time we hit stage 13, I think he will be at 95 % of his tour form and weight, then its game over for the other GC guys. He will gain at least a minute or 2 at Tourmalet(stage 13), and will hit the nail in the coffin at stage 17, so they need to take time from him now. BIG MISTAKE.

First of all, it´s not clear if she was a journalist or a team member. I tried to find something but didn´t find anything reliable. But i agree it was totally her fault for standing in a crowd of people where she couldn´t even see Remco approaching approximately 30km/h on the way to short ending. But i think she is excused because, as the great and wise n.m4497 pointed out, she is a woman and therefore can´t think.

yeah i think so as well I dont understand how Jumbo is so unlucky sometimes 1st day, 30 sec late because of flat tyre 2nd day, flat tyres again and Roglic falls when Roglic falls, its usually up to Vingegaard to win (Tour de France 2022 for example)

Not if you have just celebrated your win, you are exhausted and the tension of the competition just resolved. There should be plenty of room to move through for the riders. Another example of remco ,not having any bike handling skills !? How many times this year has he crashed? In the giro ,when he crashed in the wet on his own ,he nearly took another rider out ,if it wasn't for the other riders bike handling skills he would have been on the floor with remco ! Now he's crashing into spectators? Look at the slow mo ,he didn't know what to do, no attempt to avoid the the crash ,he's still a rookie.....shit ! When he got up he looked like he'd been fighting mike tyson!

It was Remco's fault here. He had the time to brake and not crash but like always he is going to blame everyone but himself. This is what makes him unlikable.

Sprinters cross the finish line at 50 miles per hour and don’t miss anyone. This guy gets to the top of a mountain stage and bashes someone, only to proceed to rant for the third stage in a row. I don’t like adding to the random hatred/criticizing on the internet but honestly… please forgive the stereotype: it seems you can take the boy out of the pitch, but you can’t take the pitch out of the boy.
